Had a great stay at Best Western Grant Park Hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant visit. The atmosphere was relaxed and convenient, with a great location close to the park and museums. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with directions or local tips.

Let me start off by saying we chose Best Western Grant Park Hotel for it's location which was phenomenally close to the two places we were in Chicago to visit. That, the amazing view from our room (802), and the kind staff are the plusses from our visit. The rest is downhill. If you're looking for a quiet room, this isn't it. It sounded like there was next to zero insulation against the outside noise from the street 8 stories down. You can clearly hear every car drive by, every honk, loud yelling, and everything...at all times of day and night. Combine that with barely any soundproofing between the rooms and absolutely no seal around the room door (see the picture I took after we went to bed) and the only way anyone will ever sleep peacefully is if you are an extremely deep sleeper or heavily medicated. Also, PSA when you're staying in shared space...don't let doors slam behind you. It's very simple to gently pull or push a door closed in a way that doesn't disturb every room around you. Be considerate. After a terrible first night's sleep, I discovered the shower handle was broken. We had plans and needed to leave by a certain time so we weren't able to shower. I informed the front desk and it was fixed by the time we returned to our room, but obviously the inconvenience has already occurred. I included a video of this as well. We won't stay here again.
Stayed for a night on labor day. Room 2as okay, view of the water was less exciting and not worth the extra cost. No parking lot, and no valet. Had to half ass park in front to go in and ask where to park. They told me a few spots. Ended up at one a block away for $65 for the night.

Everyone was very friendly & helpful. I would recommend valet parking unless you want to walk 2 blocks. It's $58/night & you can come & go. It's about a 10 min walk to Museum Campus. 20ish min walk to Millennium Park. Everything was very clean. We were only able to book a double Double bed room. It was very small & the beds were not comfortable. There were only a few inches between the corner of the bed & the wall to get out of the room. The shower curtain was a bit too small so you'd end up with a puddle on the floor if you weren't careful. The air return/vent was in the shower which prevented the bathroom from getting too steamy, which was nice. The towels weren't scratchy either. The remote for the TV didn't work & the channels didn't match to what they actually were. Our view was very nice though. Overall, you get what you pay for & ultimately we just needed a place to shower & sleep.

Paid $116 for Valet parking for two nights while we stayed at hotel. My husband and I used Uber for the weekend while our car stayed parked the whole time. We foolishly did not look over our car before we took ownership Sunday morning after we checked out. Drove home, unloaded our car and noticed damage to our front bumper driver side. These were gouged plastic and white transfer marks. My license plate was also scratched and gouged. I immediately called the hotel and reported the incident. After weeks of email exchanges and pictures, and contacting Corporate they refused any responsibility. I had a picture on my phone Friday night because we used a parking kiosk and needed our license plate # and there was clearly no damage. It was damaged after I gave the keys to the front desk. They said they reviewed the cameras and they claim our car was parked with the back end to the wall. I asked to see the footage, because truly believe it was parked head first and someone when parking touched the concrete wall and then when turned the steering wheel it scratched the bumper. Interesting they never provided the footage as I asked. Extremely disappointing experience at this hotel and left a terrible customer experience with us.
