First off: I spoke with MGMT about their breakfast because it was so delicious and they informed me that they're cracking eggs for the scrambled eggs...no powder. For the breakfast alone, best in class. The rooms are ample and spacious feeling, with a chair and a desk in addition to the bed and TV. The bathrooms are a little tight but all's well that ends well with the MGMT opting for a higher thread count bedding, which more than makes this the absolute best hotel for the price range along the intersection (on the same intersection is a Baymont, a Marriott and a Super 8, that I have noticed- I've stayed at the Bonvoy by Marriott and must say that the BW is my go-to when in the area). Kind and attentive staff that are gracious to be hospitable. 5/5

The property sits right next to a highway, so you’ll hear every car and semi-truck passing by all night. The “new windows” must’ve been installed for decoration because they block absolutely nothing. It’s like sleeping inside a traffic cone. Noise insulation? Never heard of her. Hospitality? Nonexistent. I tried to grab some snacks around 8 p.m.? Good luck. I waited twenty minutes for the front desk attendant to return from his spiritual retreat in Narnia. My first room smelled like sewer gas, which really set the mood. I switched rooms, only to find the TV remote batteries were dead...and so was the staff’s motivation to bring new ones. Two days before checkout, I asked to extend my stay. The attendant told me I had to wait until checkout day. Every hotel on Earth lets you extend early, but this guy acted like he was guarding the last secret of the Da Vinci Code. In short, this place is a masterclass in how not to run a hotel. If you value sleep, service, and comfort — drive past this place like everyone else on the highway.

Stayed for an event and on the last night of our stay the fire alarm went off at 11:45. Our group staying consisted of four, two with heart disabilities including myself and our significant others. We all filed out, the fire department came, and we went back up as the fire department left. No answers. At 12:30 the fire alarms went off a second time. A friend and I decided to go to the lobby after the fire department left the hotel to get answers. The manager and one other employee told everyone it was a “false alarm” and provided no other answers as they walked behind a wall to avoid our questions. The fire alarm was never disabled, the alarm lights were still flashing on the lobby floor when we checked out. When we asked for a refund we were told to come back in tomorrow (we do not live here and are going home so we will be calling) and that the general manager would be there tomorrow (despite his car being in front of the store, we believe he was hiding in the back again.) All we want is answers and compensation for our lack of sleep, My friend falling down the stairs in the panic, and the stress put on our hearts. Ridiculous.
