- KWK WallentineSep 11, 20252.0I’ve stayed here before and gave a much more positive review. However, this hotel has not aged well. I’m sure that some of the rooms have been updated, but ours was not. The sink drained very, very slowly, there was some mold around the bathtub, and the tub surround had been broken and poorly patched. But the worst thing was the television would not turn off and one could not change the channel or volume. When we asked the front desk to fix it, the response was to be very skeptical that I was truthful and to give us a different remote. Not a new remote, just a different one. This remote looked like it had been first use in the early 1990s. It didn’t help. We finally had to unplug everything so that we could sleep. The television was on loudly when we came into the room, indicating that the maid surely knew about the problem, but the hotel chose not to fix it. The high point was the excellent breakfast and very friendly breakfast attendant. The location is quiet.
