  If clean, affordable and safe with a free breakfast are your top priorities then Best Western Galt Inn hits the mark. The water pressure is strong, the wifi is adequate and staff is pleasant. That noted, signs of wear & tear are abundant including cracks along the walls, worn carpets and tattered chairs in the room. Located about 30 minutes from Downtown Sacramento it is fortunate Galt is super-safe, as the "24/7" gym they advertise is actually 6:00a to 11:00p and the treadmill overheats and seizes at speeds over 3MPH in about 20 minutes,

  Other than paper thin walls and toddlers waking me up at 6 am. The hotel is good, clean. The staff was friendly. I would stay here again. I realize the screaming toddler is not the hotels fault.

  I just checked out this morning. This is the best Best Western I’ve ever stayed at. For the price, it was fantastic. Very thoughtfully managed. Deco was modern, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was a nice plus. Every staff member was very kind and accommodating. I was very pleasantly surprised about how nice of a stay my wife and I had here!

  Nice... It's not fancy or stylish and it's a bit older maybe needs some updating but it's definitely a good place to stay and rest. It's quiet My room was clean and everything worked. My bed was comfortable and I had a good size TV. Staff here were very friendly and helpful especially the young man during the day and young woman who worked the night shift. We felt secure and safe! And if I pass by again I will definitely stay here. The price was also good. September 14 & 15 2025.
