I was pretty apprehensive of booking here. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and professionalism. Breakfast was included in the adjoining restaurant. Had an actual balcony. Pretty nice location with easy parking.
BED BUGS GALORE! THEM THINGS ARE GIANT. Amanda was VERY RUDE. 3rd floor West tower. Bad infestation.....Thank God we didn't touch the bed they were on the pillows and sheets crawling around . We told the front desk Amanda, she says they weren't there the other day . Those things were huge. They've been there a good while.
I told here I wanted them to reimburse me for my bag of chips that I had opened not knowing if the bugs crawled in there. Amanda acted like it was normal for the bugs to be there, like, no big deal! It was room 327 in the west tower. Nasty smelling also.the only plus about it was the veiw from the balcony. But within 10 minutes we saw and took pictures of BIG bedbugs. YUCK
Rooms are really outdated, the nicest things about the room is the sliding doors and the view, but NOT WORTH THE RISK!
Oh and $150 deposit??? For what???

We usually stay with Best Western when booking hotels, but this was the first time we'd encountered so many mishaps in one location during our visit. For the price, the superior view of the river was indeed excellent, but it was often difficult to ever enjoy the luxuries paid for as many of the amenities either malfunctioned or never worked altogether. Namely of these was the fact that the pool was temporarily closed during a majority of our time there. I understand that even if properly maintained, pools may not always work flawlessly, but being one of the key services paid for in the price of rent, I feel if such amenities fail during a person's stay, they should be duly compensated, either with a post-visit refund of some measure, or by a considerable discount on any future stays the guests may wish to book at any Best Western hotels. That being said, there were many highlights to our stay, but just as many mishaps that made me consider switching to another hotel chain as my main choice for future vacations.
Diamond in the ruff. This property is right on the water and has incredible sunset views. It has a pier, a pool and 2 restaurants on site (IHop and 3 Fisherman). Breakfast was free at 3 Fisherman, it was standard (room for improved selections). The rooms are spacious and had everything we needed. Beds, tv, fridge, microwave, closet space, dresser, etc. The bathroom was large and had everyone we needed. It had a drop ceiling that the door rubbed on. The window in bathroom needed to be replaced, it sounded like it was open. The water pressure was great but the shower head was low for me (5'7"). The balcony was fabulous! We even had a screen. The staff was very nice and made my late check in so easy. Good parking lot. Elevator iffy. I would stay here again!
