- TETina EcclestonOct 4, 20255.0This has to be hands down one of the nicest hotels I have ever stated at. How is it a 3 *. Not right. Room was amazing. Kingston bed,fireplace, fridge,everything you need. Breakfast was beyond good. I can't say enough about this hotel. So cozy.
- BSBruce SOct 2, 20254.0I spent two nights here on a short notice trip. Booked easily by calling and didn’t roll into town until later in the night. The manager, i think was on duty to check us in promptly and efficiently. Although the decor is dated it is not worn or threadbare to my eye. It feels a bit like being on a movie set. The wood and brick work must have been quite an undertaking to build whenever they did it. The Breakfast choices were fresh and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and greet you cheerfully when you enter. I took a snooze out on the pool deck in their loungers on the first afternoon which was lovely. They have table service from the bar/restaurant so you can’t bring anything on the deck to eat or drink from your room. A nice clean motel with some nice decor.
- SHSonya HalanOct 2, 20253.0I was in town with a friend that was having cancer treatment in the Kingston General Hospital. He is always cold due to low blood pressure and loss of body weight. I booked a room with a fireplace thinking he would be able to sit in front of the fire to get warmer. To my surprise the fireplaces are nothing more than a screen saver you would get on your tv. No heat just the visual effect. I told the front desk at checkout that it was deceiving in nature to make a person believe that it was a fireplace. His response was that by law they cannot have a working fireplace in a room and I am the only person that has brought this to their attention. No sorry to hear that , no discounts , nothing. I booked this room so that my friend could get just a little bit of extra care while he deals with his cancer treatment.
