After booking I read several negative reviews and was concerned. Need not have been. Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly, breakfast good. I'll stay again if the need arises.

We were checked in by Nick a very nice front desk associate. The room was very clean. The water was very hot. The bed was very comfortable. The stay was very enjoyable! It was a very nice visit.
My family rented a room on July, 24, 2025 for the sole purpose of using the shower facility bc our water heater was incapable of use due to leak. We did not stay the night, only had showers bc we live only 0.2 of a mile from the motel on the sane street. They were fully booked & charged us for 3 nights in error & manager refused to reimburse us bc we threw away the receipt on accident. We only rented it it for 1 night so we dudnt believe the receipt would end up being so valuable. The room was spacious, (not much hot water or water pressure) & we were pleased until we discovered they’d charged us 3x for 1 night. I highly recommend your family drive on to the the next big cities of Thomasville or Bainbridge depending on your travel destination to stay at more reputable places bc the manager & staff member that supposedly checked us out suck at their job in customer service.

Mold in the bathtub and you’re gonna have to kill your own big roach when it climbs on the wall. Pool closes at 7 and the front desk person Sam is inconsiderate and unpleasant. My bf who checked in is a below the knee amputee and we were giving a second floor room even though the hotel was empty.
April 2025, my family with an infant, got a double room. I have stayed here a few times in the past, including most recently in February. I got to the room I pulled back the sheets of the bed and found stands of hair in each bed. One bed it was in the center of the bed while the other under the pillows. This hair wasn’t mine. I immediately went to the office and asked for clean sheets and pillow cases from the employee Sam. Sam stated that it would be a 45 minute wait since the bed sheets were in the washer. He asked if I wanted to switch rooms and I stated it was ok as I could change the sheets myself with no issue, plus I had already taken all of our things in the room. Shortly my husband arrived and sat near the head of the bed on a blanket. He moved his arm up and a very long light brown and blond string of hair was on his arm, my hair is dark brown med length, so not mine . We had plans so we left and I didn’t check anything else in the room. Later in the night myself and infant child returned to the room first. I made the beds and got us ready to shower. Grabbed the bath mat I see another long strand of brown/blond hair visible in the tub. I look around the tub and it’s several strands of hair in the tub at least 15-20 some short some medium all different colors and types. I take over 30 minutes trying to get the hair out with my antibacterial wipes unsuccessfully. I then go to grab the 2 wash cloths and towels only to open them and find hair in 3 of 4 of them. At this point I’m past disgusted. I then redress myself and infant and walk to the office, where I let Sam know there is hair everywhere in the bathroom that I just clean up and also in the towels, I asked for fresh towels. He told me to give him about 20 minutes and he’d bring them to me. I wait in the room and he later calls to tell me that he only had the 2 wash cloths and no towel so I would have to wait until 8am to get towels. I proceed to ask was I not supposed to shower myself and child for bed? Sam repeated it wouldn’t be until 8am, so almost 9 hours away at this point. We had a very long day travel and being around others and shower nightly. So I pack up myself and infant and I head to the office backside near the pool door and discover it was locked so I walked around to the front which was also locked. Sam opened the door to let us in and I give him the keys on the counter. I ask him for a refund due to the conditions of the room and there was no other room availables by this time. He attempted to call the owner at least 3 times because he said he couldn’t issue a refund. I’m upset and tell him I needed a refund and I would drive elsewhere to find a clean room because I’ve never been to a hotel room that was in such condition with that much hair. Sam then says he will just give me a refund from his money and walked to the office behind the counter. He come back out a few minutes later and says he had to wait on the owner. I asked when he’d be available as I was leaving on Sunday. Sam said he’d be there on Monday at 10am. So Monday at 10:48am I called. And asked for the owner. I was told the owner wasn’t there and would be in around 3pm. I called back at 3:53pm and asked for the owner or manager. Sam identified himself as the manager and stated the owner had not come in and told me to “send an email.” I wasn’t able to stay in due to the unsanitary conditions and being unable to properly bath in a room that I paid to be able to do so. This is very disappointing as I’ve stayed before and never saw a room this dirty. At the least bit everyone who rents a room deserves a sanitary room. I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night just to be able to shower and sleep in a clean location with my family. I’m beyond disappointed in the quality at this Best western and I wish I would have taken photos prior to trying to cleaning the room myself. I called several times and sent emails as told but I never got a response or a refund. 2 months later, they still don’t do the right thing. DO NOT STAY HERE. Drive the extra 15 minutes to Thomasville.
