My wife and I tried to reserve a room online for Edgewater Best Western in Sandpoint, ID. For 10/04/25. Like we have 20 times over. There was something wrong with the website so we called what we thought was the front desk like we always do, but we got a call center. FML! We were met with a quick disconnect when we asked about the website being down, and if we were still able to reserve a room...she said yes, got overly upset and hung up because I asked what was going on?! Lol thanks guys!!👍 we spend a lot of money with you!!!! and do not appreciate this disrespect. Done!!!

I’ve stayed here for years on motorcycle rides. Amazing location but facility, hotel and the town is really run down. Great location but would opt for VRBO next time.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We paid $365 for one night (including a bogus $42 “resort fee”) for two Queens and this place was nothing but a filthy, outdated dump. Dirt on the shower walls, a dirty hotel towel left on our patio, a broken phone with the wrong room number on it, rock-hard spring mattresses that left us unable to sleep & gave us severe back pain, dirty Kurig, and a loud A/C that made it impossible to sleep. Worst of all, the shower was dangerous—the water wouldn’t regulate and kept surging scalding hot, burning our son. Completely unacceptable and unsafe. On top of that, hallways were hotter/humid than outside, and NO elevators. You have to drag your luggage down two flights of narrow stairs just to get to a “ground-floor” room. The only positives were polite front desk staff and beach access, but that doesn’t even come close to making up for how bad this overpriced place is. This is nothing but a run-down, overpriced dump pretending to be a resort. Motel 6 would have been cleaner, safer, and far more comfortable. Do not recommend. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I have wanted to stay here for years. What a beautiful view and it looked so nice. outside trash cans were full.security door was broke. We checked in room was dated and not too clean I dusted my own room. That’s bad. The balcony I had so looked forward to was next to a main air conditioner and my loud air conditioner so we couldn’t sit outside. Air in the room was ridiculous loud. The topper was this morning the shower is either hot or cold to regulate it I had to put it at a trickle. I was so disappointed and the price was ridiculous.
