  I had a terrible experience at that hotel. When I checked in they gave me a wrong room key. I didn’t realize it at the moment, but I ended up meeting other guest enterred room when lying on bed. Both of us experienced unpleasant situations, and I had to explain what was happening to me. They took more than 30 minutes to figure out and find proper room. And I had to wait patiently for the process to complete. Eventually, I had to move to the room that I had originally been assigned. No pne apologized this event to me. When I attempted to check out earlier, I had already checked out the previous night. The tall black man attempted to charge me more if I wanted to check out. He created a huge commotion and refused to apologize.

  We stayed at the Best Western Downtown Phoenix for two nights while my husband was having surgery at the hospital nearby. The location was perfect—only about 5 minutes from the hospital—which made everything so much easier. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They really made a stressful time a lot more comfortable for us. Yes, you do pay for parking, but it’s very reasonable compared to other hotels in downtown Phoenix. I also loved that they have a little marketplace with snacks and drinks, which was super convenient when we didn’t want to go out. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re visiting the hospital or just need a nice, welcoming place to stay in downtown Phoenix!

  MJ took care of me at the counter after the hotel messed up my connecting rooms. I didn’t get the connected rooms I had requested a month prior but he at least got us rooms next to each other

  The soap dish broke in our room. I was wrong. Best Western did not charge us a fee as I claimed they did. I only had 4 hours but those four hours was some of the best sleep I ever had.

  Awful service! We requested early check in. The desk associate took almost 40 minutes to get us checked in. Barely early at that point. When we got to our room we had two queen beds despite requesting a King Bed. We went back to the front desk to let them know. After taking my phone from me to scroll through my email, we were very rudely told that all of the king sized rooms were already occupied and so we had no other options. Despite the request being made when we booked the room several months ago and arriving early, no cars in the parking lot, on a Sunday afternoon. This employee told us that they had accidentally canceled our reservation while attempting to check us in so no doubt didn't want to have to redo our reservation to the correct room. The employee cut us off multiple times and made us extremely upset after the patience we had shown while they took so long to get us checked in. I strongly discourage anyone from staying here. I find it hard to believe there isn't a better place with at least decent, polite service. What a welcome to Phoenix. Also, one of the beds looked like someone had already sat on it. Yuck!
