  Old building. Loud and noisy. Excessively loud water heaters woke me up multiple nights. Some of the staff is nice, but some is also disrespectful and needs to check themselves on how they talk to their patrons.

  Great hotel, staff, and location, for the price. Hotel provided a fantastic breakfast with numerous choices, located on the bayview 11th floor. On premises there is an evening lounge, Marty Mcpies resturant, small sundries shop, pool, gym and guest laundry. The hotel is a little dated, but very clean and had every amenity we needed. The establishment was a great value for the price. Recommend

  Me and my wife live here in Corpus Christi and there was a festival downtown tonight (Nov 1). I called this hotel to make a reservation because we planned on walking around downtown and having some drinks, and we didn’t want to drink and drive. However, when I called, they told me they do not rent rooms to people who live in the local area. Even after I explained that we were simply trying to be responsible and avoid driving under the influence, they still refused to accommodate us. So I’m not sure how that policy is supposed to promote safety in the community. It honestly feels like they’re encouraging people to drive home after drinking, rather than allowing locals to stay somewhere nearby and be safe. If you’re from the Corpus Christi area, just be aware — they will turn you away even if you’re trying to do the right thing.

  We booked this hotel for 3 nights. When we got to the hotel everything was fine. However the room we were in on the 3rd floor had a very high pitched humming noise that kept me awake the first night. I didn't sleep at all. Infact it was such a bad noise that it made me so angry trying to ignore it. When I spoke to the front desk they said they send an engineer. They did and he came and said he would check the air con and never came back without any explanation. The next morning l, first thing I complained to the front desk and they said they can only give me rubber earplugs. I got them but that morning as the morning went on the noise was just so irritating, I couldn't hear my families conversation, the TV and I had to complain again. A nice key helped (Zak I think his name was) and explained that the pool side of the hotel uoto the 4 th floor had the same noise as it was a old hotel. He changed our room and I didn't hear it again. I wish they had mentioned this issue when we booked in. Also I don't know why the morning lady I complained to didn't just move our room rather than giving me ear plugs which I thought was rude. The other issue we had is we went to take the kids to the pool on Sunday and it was closed for maintenance. So not a good stay overall.

The person who delivered my breakfast was friendly and courteous, and their quick, quiet service ensured a peaceful start to my day. The high-quality food and exceptional room service are just two examples of the thoughtful, welcoming atmosphere the entire staff cultivates.
