I called to see if I could get into my room early... like 30/40 minutes. They told me it would be a $50 charge to do so, I declined. We got there a little before 3 to get in line for check in. Waited in line to check in for 25 minutes while the person at the front desk answered every single phone call, making reservations, canceling reservations and who knows what else. When I finally got up to the front desk, after 3 mind you. My room was not ready. They needed another 45 minutes to an hour. But wernt you all trying to charge me $50 to get into my room 30 minutes early. We went out to lunch, came back and hour later, its now 4p. I again waited in line for another 20 minutes, asked if I could get into my room, the front desk then said it wasn't reported to her as clean. Here I am getting just a bit heated as we are here for a timed event, I just drove 3 hours, I need to shower, get ready and make my way to an event that starts at 6p. She then left the front desk to find someone to ask about my room, came back 7 minutes later to let me know it was done. The room was clean, the hotel was nice, seemed well kept. But the check in process was very unorganized. For the amount I'm paying for a room, I should be getting into my room on-time. When I ask to get into my room 30 minutes early and they want to chage me $50 when I wasnt even able to get into my room until 430...completely unacceptable. I will take my business to the other 20 hotels in the area.
