- TTTheMia315Oct 17, 20254.0We had to come for a family emergency in Brooklyn & needed to come here ASAP for 1 night to go to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital the next day. Good thing I have 190,000 Venture Capital One points. I used 34,000 points for this place and equivalent to $340. In reality, it should be $200, but this is NYC. The room looked contemporary & clean. It's a small room, but good enough. We got here at 7pm & found parking but most of it was filled up. It's a very dark & creepy walk to the shops & restaurants, but it only took 15 minutes to get to Nathan's. It's mid October, but I'm sure it's a safer walk in summer. Brooklyn needs to do more street cleaning. For an iconic city, this place is filthy.
- SSSara SikorskiOct 13, 20254.0This is a nice and quiet hotel outside of the city. It takes about an hour by train to get to Manhattan but the train is nearby, comes regularly, and is a quiet ride. It is an industrial area but does not feel unsafe. The beach is about a 15 minute walk. Check-in was easy and the staff is nice. I would come back again. It is a great option for bigger and quieter rooms compared to when you stay in Manhattan!
- MBmarkus bielefeldOct 12, 20254.0Gutes Hotel für ein paar Tage in N.Y. Etwas abseits vom Stadttrubel in Brooklyn Coney Island. Strand fußläufig in 15 Minuten erreichbar. U-Bahn Haltestelle 10 Minuten zu Fuß und dann ca. 1 Std. bis Downtown Manhattan ohne umzusteigen. Gegend mit vielen Autowerkstätten und anderen Industriebetrieben. Highway in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel. Ja es ist etwas laut, aber man gewöhnt sich beim Fensteröffnen dran. Fenster können auch eh nicht ganz geöffnet werden. Fliegengitter davor, sehr vorbildlich. Zimmer ausreichend und alles was man braucht und vor allem super sauber. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und alles ordentlich gemacht. Das Bett war wunderbar! Frühstück dagegen eigentlich nichts...viel Plastikutensilien... reicht für einen kurzen Morgenbreak. Wer mehr will ist hier allerdings falsch. Alles in allem ausreichend für einen Städtetrip. Die Gegend ist zwar nichts besonderes, wir haben uns aber nie unsicher gefühlt. Wer einkaufen oder gut Essen gehen möchte, findet fußläufig in 15 Minuten alles dafür. Hotelpersonal ist wortkarg, das finden wir schade... für eine persönliche Note leider nicht förderlich.
