  Upon arrival I entered the lobby and said I was there to check in. The person behind the counter said "I can't confirm anything until I see some ID". That struck me as a little rude. Not a good first impression. Upon entry into our room there seemed to be a weird smell, I equated it to someone trying to cover up cigarettes smell. It never went away during our two night stay. The room appeared clean other then the smell. It could use some upgrades as the carpet looked very old. The layout of the room was strange as the sink was right next to the door. Not a very big counter. Our body soap dispenser was also missing. The shower had decent pressure but the bathroom is small. The walls seemed thin as we could hear others talking pretty clearly. The bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was below average in our opinion. We stayed here while visiting Lassen NP. And noticed a lot of homeless people around town. Didn't have a safe feeling.

  Lisa helped with reservation and was wonderful, very helpful and informed. We were a large group of 6 with 2 children and had an amazing visit. The pool was so clean and plenty of towels, the birds and fish were entertaining and fun. Breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Wifi was great, Close to lots of places to eat. we would love to return.

  The bed is hard and is not comfortable it was the worst sleep i have ever gotten i have a hurt tail bone and the bed was so. Hard makeimg it uncomfortable to sleep because my tail bone hurts bad from sleeping on the hard bed the tv remote barely works it was hard to turn off and on the light switch by the door dont work

  I mentioned at check in that i have a support animal and the person at the counter acknowledged that. When i checked my bank statement a few days later i found that they charged me a 30 dollar fee and they said it’s a “Pet fee” that they can’t refund without manager approval. I emailed manager and will update review accordingly
