Be extremely careful booking this place, as they will charge you twice for a room booked online. Upon arrival, we handed over a credit card and ID, quite normal for any hotel booking. We stated the room was booked with hotels.com, and while it took a long time to apparantly "confirm," nothing else was stated before saying we were all set and handed room keys.
However, upon a retrospective credit card charge perusal and a discussion with representative Kristoff, we learned that when we checked in, the long process was our information being taken done to make an impromptu reservation, as they weren't able to find any reservation from hotels.com to be found. WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION, a new reservation was made with a new credit card charge. This was not stated upfront, and accountability was at 0% as both the call directly to the inn stated there was no property manager on site to talk to us to assist and hotels.com was also unable to reach anyone.
The room itself was spacious and clean enough, which is why this sort of service is especially disappointing, as nothing was even mentioned, just casually double charging us upon arrival.
There are many fantastic other inns and hotels in Alamosa, please go there instead!

I wish I could give zero stars. I woke up in my hotel room at the Best Western in Alamosa with a bed bug right next to my head. I ended up having to throw away nearly everything I brought with me because I couldn’t risk bringing anything home.
When I went to speak with the manager, she casually told me that she “knows” they have bed bugs and simply refunded my stay. No apology, no concern, nothing about addressing the problem — even though there are other reviews from just a few days ago describing the same issue.
It’s beyond unacceptable that they’re continuing to rent rooms knowing there’s an infestation. This was a horrible experience, and I truly hope no one else has to go through what I did.
I was very comfortable staying at the Alamosa inn. There are improvements that could be made, but they are minor and typical of a three-star motel. The rooms were large and clean enough. There's a very large pool with a hot tub indoors. We did not eat breakfast this morning so I'm not sure how it was. There's a lot of parking and there's little grassy area for your dog and a place to eat outside as well. Overall, I was happy staying here, but improvements should be made on the hard beds, the pool should be cleaner and I think that housekeeping could clean the tub and shower curtains a little bit better. But I find myself being a bit picky these days.

They will charge you smoking fee even if you smoke outside by the pool. $200.00 I'm on camera smoking 32ft from my door by the pool area. Just not GOOD! I had to make a police report made for theft, also reported them to the FTC.GOV Federal Trade Commission. An order in a room does not constitute SMOKE,,, It's outrages. Unbelievable LIES! The bathroom was filthy, Chocking around the tub is yellow, peeling off ,, & BUGS! You flip on a light and they RUN! DISHONEST EMPLOYEES & COMPANY

We are from Albuquerque, NM. We decided to get a room in Alamosa, CO while we were maintaining our land in Fort Garland. We usually stay at Hampton Inn, which never disappoints, unfortunately they were completely booked and we found ourselves at Best Western Inn: The room gave off a very un-inviting ambiance. The room clearly was not cleaned properly. The first thing I saw were stains on the bedspread and carpet was not vacuumed. I also opened the mini fridge to find food left from previous occupants!!
It had been a long day on the road.. LUCKILY, I did a thorough check of the bedding before crawling into bed, I was so disgusted by what I saw, I couldn’t believe it. For the first time in my life, I was greeted by a Bed Bug! I immediately Googled the image to verify, and sure enough, I was correct.
I called the front desk- it was 2am. The night agent was helpful and accommodating, she said she has another room available- even though we were skeptical that it would be been any better. She also said we can talk to the “managers” first thing in the morning about receiving a refund for the inconvenience. So, here we are, lugging all of our belongings to the “new” room since we were exhausted and by this time, it was around 2:30am.
We went to speak with Krishna in the morning, to whom we explained our experience to, and she had absolutely NO empathy for our situation and insinuated that we made the whole thing up! She said being that they did put us in a new room, that we were not “eligible” for a refund! She was very rude, pretty much called us liars and just about was yelling in my face to prove her point! So very, very disappointed with the facilities here along with the customer service! It was the most horrible experience we’ve ever had in ANY hotel/accommodation!
We will never be back and unfortunately, out of $170! Now we get to disinfect literally everything before we bring it into our home!!
