Nice hotel. Employees are accommodating. Had to cancel the reservation in the middle of stay & they refunded the remaining in full..
Hotel itself seems nice enough. Beds are firm. If you like sleeping on the floor you will be very comfortable. Stay away from room 128. It's an adjoining room and walls are thin so when the neighbors come in at midnight acting like it's noon they will wake you up. It is also conveniently located right next to the breakfast room and they placed the head of the beds against that wall so right at 6am you will begin to hear breakfast trays clanging and all the cheerful early risers getting a jump-start to their day. At that point you can kiss all hope of getting more sleep goodbye and the whole purpose for stopping here instead of pushing on another 60-90 minutes (getting a really good night rest and starting fresh in the morning) is moot. I suppose I could have avoided this had I not requested a first floor room. Silly me. I had read there was no elevator and didn't want to schlep my stuff up the stairs. In retrospect that would have been a challenge but far better than the night in 128. This is not what I have come to expect from Best Western and I'm rethinking my choice to choose BW along the way this trip.
I booked a NON REFUNDABLE reservation for Thursday, October 9th. We arrived at approximately 10pm to be told our reservation was cancelled and they are sold out. Interesting that someone would take the time to cancel a NON REFUNDABLE reservation and this hotel DID NOT CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD. That doesn't make sense. I feel this hotel wanted to resell my room for more money and possibly a longer stay than the one night I booked during the Balloon Festival, their busiest time of the year.
We flew to Albuquerque for my fathers funeral which was taking place 12 hours after we arrived.
Best Western Corporate advised me the hotel cancelled my reservation which this hotel denies! YOU ADDED SO MUCH STRESS TO AN ALREADY STRESSFUL TRIP!!!
UPDATE 10/27/25- after receiving your generic scripted response.
Both Best Western Corporate and Capital One confirmed my reservation was not cancelled. I received a cancellation notice while I was standing in your lobby.
You are not an honest person!

Just a block from Albuquerque International Sunport at 2400 Yale Blvd SE, the Best Western Airport InnSuites Hotel & Suites is a convenient detour, perfect for travelers needing a quick, welcoming stay. The staff’s exceptional warmth—think front desk smiles and housekeeping’s thoughtful touches—makes you feel like family, with local tips offered freely. The 24-hour airport shuttle, running every half hour, ensures easy access to flights or rental cars. The hot breakfast is a highlight: fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, fresh waffles, and yogurt parfaits fuel you up in a cozy dining area. Suites are clean and spacious, with mini-fridges, microwaves, and great Wi-Fi for seamless streaming or work, plus an outdoor pool for a quick dip. However, the dated decor and hard beds (saved by plenty of pillows) keep it from feeling luxurious.
Strong water pressure in the showers will get the kings out, a balky ice machine was a mild inconvenience. For road-trippers or flyers needing a practical base near ABQ’s airport, this Best Western delivers with its friendly vibe, hearty breakfast, and easy on-and-off access to I-25 or I-40, with gas stations nearby for a quick fuel-up and new restaurants/fast food galore. It’s not flawless, but feels safe, and comes in as a 4 star solid choice for a restful stop during your next adventure.

I think that this is a good hotel at around 95 to 110 per night. Unfortunately, hotel operators like Best Western find out about a big City event and double or triple the cost to stay in their hotel. Our recent trip cost over 300 for one night. I didn't make the reservation or we wouldn't have stayed there. To make matters EVEN worse, we got there around 1230pm and asked for an early check in. They wanted 25 extra, on top of the stupid price we were paying for the room. You know, I understand some charges but charging extra when a room is available, cost them nothing. It is, unfortunately, another way that hotels rip off folks. I found the breakfast offering good. The hotel was clean. They had airport drop off service. It isn't an upscale hotel but it is good enough at around $100.
