My family and I were here last night and we were horribly disappointed...
We first thought that the restaurant (i am definitely not putting this all on the server, because to be fair, she seemed on top of things) forgot completely about our bar drinks. Our family's sodas/waters came out quickly enough, but it took at least a half hour for the bar drinks to come out.
Next, it took an hour from sit down to even get our appetizer; again, to the point where we were CONVINCED that it wasn't even going to come out. Especially because two people at our table got their soups and salads well beforehand. We chalked it up to being forgotten about, and figured they'd just bring us our meals since it had already been an hour. The app finally ended up actually coming out, but was missing part of the food (it was the appetizer sampler and was supposed to come with the toasted bread, but didn't). I wondered if I was mistaken, but realized I actually had been correct when my father's meal came out (who ordered the sampler for his meal) and it did actually come with the toasted bread, and was even on a larger platter to accommodate the extra food.
Next, well after we ate our app, it again took forever to get our meals. Four out of the six of us got our food (three pizzas and a calzone), and we assumed the other two meals would be following right behind, right? Nope.
Supposedly, they lost the ticket for my partner's meal (that's what we were told), and said my father's meal (the sampler) was coming right out. As such, the rest of us were waiting to dig in until the others (at least my father's, whose wasn't supposed to be much longer) got their food, as to not be rude.
To their credit, they did own up for the missing ticket (it was a lasagna), and we were told that item would be comped.
My father's sampler (which was supposedly going to be right out), took at least another five or ten minutes. A meal which, again, was supposed to be "right out" and was supposedly not forgotten about since otherwise it would've been mentioned alongside the forgotten lasagna. Why a restaurant team thinks it's okay to have that much time between dropping meals off is beyond me, especially considering it's fairly common etiquette to wait until the whole party is served before eating. Why would they have not at least kept the rest of our food under a food lamp, rather than serve it and risk it getting cold?
I'm not even going to be nitpicky about the forgotten lasagna, because in all fairness they did offer to get my partner another soup or salad in the meantime, which he declined; but why not at least admit that you either forgot about or effed up the sampler meal? Plus, when it finally came is when I finally confirmed that the appetizer had been missing something.
TL;DR: So, in summary... took forever to even get drinks; took even longer to get the appetizer (to the point where we were certain it was forgotten about), which didn't even have everything it was supposed to (and tbh looked kinda sad); actually DID get a meal forgotten about; and had meals coming out ten minutes apart, not even counting the forgotten meal. Literally the ONLY saving grace was the fact they admitted to and took care of ONE of these mistakes.
Very disappointing, especially considering how highly it seems to be rated. It was my first time here and did not leave a great impression. Will probably not return. New customers, beware.
