If you want to make a sizable donation and not get much in return then this is the place for you!! We paid upfront for four weeks of training and we were going to pay more the next month for two more weeks. Thank God we didn’t pay it all upfront but we still lost a lot of money and we quit coming after the third week of training because it was unprofessional and a waste of time. First red flag should have been that they were so adamant that there were no refunds not even if your dog died before training could start! Anyway we were stupid and handed over the money then came for first day of training and it wasn’t the owner the person that we interviewed with it, no it was this girl who was not professional cussed like a sailor and spent our first one hour class all on how to put the herm springer collar on our dog which we could have learned in like 10 minutes. She said the same thing over and over again didn’t do one bit of training and then we left got in the car and we were like what did we just do. Second week we show up and because the owner had fired the girl he was now going to be the trainer and we thought ok this will be better but he didn’t show for the appointment and when we called we had to reschedule he wasn’t feeling well. So second visit again they tell us to bring your dog hungry so he will work for treats well poor thing was hungry and there were no treats and he had sent someone out to buy some and in the meantime he talked and talked and talked and repeated himself and no actual training was done. He did try to upsell us and said well there is only so much we can do in four one hour sessions you really need to add more weeks but I had already given him 2000 dollars for nothing so I wasn’t about to do anymore. We then came for our third session and agin there was no plan no rhyme or reason and he couldn’t remember what week we were on and he got his folder out that had clients paperwork and then just sat it down and started talking saying some of the same things he had already said the previous class. We decided the fourth and final class wasn’t worth going to because it was just that bad!! I’m so irritated that we handed over that kind of money to someone that had no plan whatsoever, and had no professionalism. We interviewed with some other really good dog trainers before going with Bellum K9, but the Bellum K9 guys were very good salesmen, I’ll give them that, but the training experience was abysmal so please don’t waste your money or your time!!

Shane is the best. I had two dogs that have the worst littermate syndrome. He has given us the tools to be good dog parents. He pushes you to be better and I recommend him 10/10. He is the Best. The Best. The Best. He lost sleep with our board a train. He was pushed to the limits with my dogs. He was able to completely change our dogs. Amazing team.

Our pup, Bridger, was a mess! At almost 2 years old, he was super reactive to other dogs and people. We couldn't even walk through our neighborhood without major issues. After just 4 sessions, we took him to Tractor Supply today, and he was a ROCK STAR! Turns out, he's a genius, we just didn't know how to manage him. Bellum K9 has been AMAZING to work with. Jessica and Shane have changed our lives and we are so grateful to have found them. Looking forward to the rest of our sessions to see how much more we can learn, and teach Bridger.

Our experience with Bellum K9 on Jones Rd in Houston last year was nothing near the 5-star reviews we saw before scheduling our appointment. The "trainer" was rude to us, he seemed aggravated that we were 5 minutes early and he seemed put off when I had questions about his training methods (he asked if I was the trainer or he was). To top it off, he kept 'petting' our puppy hard (more like smacking) her on the side of her tummy AFTER I told him to be careful because she just had surgery (spayed). She was trying to get away from him from the get-go, even before he smacked her. Dogs know!! The whole experience was bad. He had 2 dogs who he said were boarded and trained in the kennel and he had his dog in one of those high-impact crates. I had to pass his dog to use the restroom and he told me not to be alarmed when his dog goes off because he's trained to attack but to rest assured that he can't escape his crate. After this, we left and never looked back. We felt very let down because we had such high hopes to get this highly rated, advertised as top-notch training for our puppy and it turned out to be a big bust.
