She was self employed and required a lot of documentation from the lender. He was quick to respond, helpful and worked to meet our lender requests.
- ADAJ DericoFeb 11, 20221.0I have used Earl and his firm for over 20 years. Unfortunately, their customer empathy and dedication to the customer have suffered tremendously since 2020. They have been absolutely unkind and unresponsive to our needs for our tax preparation and follow up for 2019 & 2020 tax returns. Last week I was notified by the State of Michigan, with a tax due notice for 2019. After discussing with Earl, it was determined, he and his firm omitted critical documents that resulted in this tax notice. In 2019, I found an error by Earl, that resulted in an overpayment of my Federal taxes. I was never notified by Earl and/or Belger and Associates of this error. I have struggled to gain the status of my 2019 amended refund. I have not received any support from Earl and his firm. I was cast aside time after and time by Earl and his firm. "There is nothing we can do but wait." 15 months later, I am still waiting, receiving more doublespeak and confusion than help from Earl and his firm. It has been both disappointing and shocking to have been treated in this manner. I am spending my time notifying all you who would like to better understand the confusion and lack of customer empathy that resides at Belger and Associates. 15 month of attempting to gain a clear understanding of my 2019 amended refund, were only met with passing the buck and more confusion within Earl's organization. Working with Earl, I expected better treatment. With that said, I am forced to share this unfortunate experience with all of you. Buyer Beware.
