  First and foremost, best value for a beachfront motel you will find anywhere, no question. That being said, this is still a two-star motel, and while you are paying less for the room, you pay for it elsewhere, like WiFi quality, and true motel hospitality. Also keep in mind the location isn't terribly ideal for those looking to venture into town. But, if the allure of an inexpensive beachfront property is at the top of your list, this place certainly checks both of those boxes.

  PSA ! Beware !!! Absolutely the worst Staff I ever had to deal with! Completely Hostile to the guests as if they are inmates! We rented 7 rooms for the weekend! After a 20 minute lecture on all the rules, we were allowed to check in! After checking in, the staff monitored every move we made! We left the tailgate down on a truck, so the staff started first thing early morning beating in the doors, saying that the maid can’t get by! WTH? Then when our friends arrived, they made her park in the first 4 spot, which almost impossible to park in for any car! Which we did after 4-5 attempts to get in the space ! We left to go about our day, as we were out & about, they made other guest with a full size dodge truck park in the same space! Clearly that is impossible for anyone to maneuver! Which cause the dodge truck to hit my friend truck door, messing up her truck! When the staff at the place called me to inform us of the accident, the lady was rude as she was screaming at someone else about their music while on the phone with me! So when I finally arrived I was pissed! I wanted the staff member that required the 2 guests to park there to please write it down that they made them park there & to show me the policy that required that! The lady refused & said if I didn’t leave them alone, they would have me removed! Call the police but because it private property they can’t make a report ! But the staff wasn’t concerned about their part or helping anyone in anyway, all they wanted was for me to be arrested & take my money!!! I looking to find the owner of this establishment, definitely would like to have a talk !! Very uncomfortable environment !!! Terrible situation ! Negative stars !

  Quaint & affordable! Very clean rooms and excellent service. Pool was amazing as well as the beachfront access. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area and I will be coming back to The Beachside. Great restaurant right across the street too.

  Great little hotel... Front desk staff super friendly, especially Lisa she was so sweet. Had a great view and could walk down to the beach right from my room. Nice restaurant and bar right across the street. This little hotel is right on the ocean has a pathway leading you right down to the beach. Some rooms have a small kitchenette with a mini fridge and stove and a dining table. Very centrally located and a very safe area

  My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights, yes it’s a quiet motel which was want we wanted. The room had dust and grim behind the stove and on the hood above the stove. The tea kettle that was on the stove was covered in dust. The walls around the little kitchen area had what appeared to be food stuck on them, so I scrubbed them. The beds were very uncomfortable. The pool was dirty, it had bandaids on the bottom and was covered in sand. When asked about it being cleaned, I was told that the pool was cleaned everyday. Well one of the cleaning ladies got the bandaids out but it was never vacuumed, never saw anyone else out there to tend to it, so we never used it. Never saw anyone walking around the grounds picking up any trash or making sure that everything was back in order.
