  Did a job for this company. First off I was way under paid, but I knew beforehand and decided to go ahead and do the job. It was for a nice family and they only had 1 person to unpack 1 1/2 semi trucks. So me and 2 of my friends decided to help for very little pay. That was almost 2 weeks ago, still have not received any money. We were promised on Friday we would be paid.. I still have not even received a reply to my text messages. One of my friends did receive a phone call to say they couldn't pay us on Friday. I am out of work for the moment so the little money was really important for me. I was relying on their word and I was very disappointed. With the lack of any communication; I have to accept that they decided I was not of importance. Anyone thinking of working for this company might want to consider a different company. Thank you Bay Area Movers for waisting my Time and causing me to short my landlord. Luckily she is giving me a few days to work another job somewhere else to make up for what you caused.

  If I could give zero stars, I would. Bay Area Movers turned what should’ve been a simple one-day move into a three-day nightmare. They showed up late every single day and didn’t finish until 11 p.m. on the last night. When my items finally arrived, two TVs were broken and my glass table was cracked. They took several things apart but didn’t bother keeping the screws or parts organized, just tossed them into random bags and boxes. We spent hours guessing what went where. Most boxes weren’t labeled or had missing stickers, which made unpacking an even bigger headache. The unpackers were in disbelief at how poorly everything was packed and documented. Later, I realized the paperwork had codes marking almost every item as damaged, scratched, or worn, even brand-new pieces. I take responsibility for signing, but it was late, I was exhausted, and I didn’t notice the codes or even knew what they meant like S, SH, or CH meant. It felt misleading. So please thoroughly read over all the paperwork before signing. To make it worse, they left several items behind. We tried to flag them down and got nowhere. If you're in the military please avoid at all cost.

  Antwawn and his crew were amazing! They handled everything for our move to Hawaii like we were family, professional but also able to joke and have fun. If you use Bay Area Movers, make sure you ask for him. Thanks again Antwawn.

  Mr. Antwan Sr. and his team were very profesional, clean ans organized. They came to my house and packed on Friday then picked up all of my furniture on Monday morning. In my 15 years in the army, this was the best movers experience I’ve had. I highly recommend Bay Area Movers and hope they continue to do moves for the Army. The ladies in Mr. Antwan’s team packed my personal belongings allowing the men to move the furniture; this made me feel a lot more comfortable with my clothing and private belongings being handled. Their system is affective and precise. Shot out to Saphiare, Mari, Dewayne, Shacura

  Exceptional validated FIVE STAR experience! Receiving my House Hold Goods from Europe, I am pleased to say I had the good fortune of getting George and Lorenzo of BMS to move me into my new Norfolk Downtown 10th floor apartment. My day started out with a phone call from George introducing himself, confirming delivery address, and providing details of his team's intended plan. I knew immediatly I would be working with an experienced professional. Even with the elevator issues George's patience with the elevator inspector and Lorenzo's innovation kept everything in motion. I have been moving across the globe for 42 years. George and Lorenzo score at the top of the list. If you want a professional tem to enhance your move experience I strongly endorse George and Lorenzo of BMS! I think they actually have fun doing their tradecraft.
