I was here tonight. I haven’t been to a bass pro store in years. As I’m walking around the store I get near the elevators. There’s a woman there. She pops out of nowhere trying to sell a discount vacation. She wasted 5-10 minutes of my time. I didn’t ask for a sales pitch. She wouldn’t stop talking. Everytime I said I’ll think about it she kept trying to pressure me to buy a vacation. I finally broke away & got upstairs. I tried to avoid her when I was coming down the elevator. I walked away from her. She must have recognized my shirt because she yells over asking if I thought it over more. This woman would not take no for an answer, she refused to stop. I said repeatedly I want time to think about it. Finally she states that if I book the vacation I can ask for a refund. I finally agreed to book a vacation just so she would stop harassing me knowing I would cancel it. But you can’t just cancel it online or on the phone, no. You have to mail a letter to their office in Florida. This woman wasted 20 minutes of my time at the store & is going to waste my time & postage to get a refund. Because of this woman I missed being able to go to a shop I wanted to go as she wouldn’t let me leave or take no for an answer. I live almost 40 miles from this location. This is literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a store. I’ll NEVER go back here. If I lived for 100 years I would never go to bass pro again. I will be filling with the attorney general consumer protection bureau because no one should be allowed to harass people like this.

There's alot of stuff I can buy here. Not the cheapest but it's readily available and set for instant gratification. The one thing that bothers me is the people by the elevator trying to sell you a vacation. Their so high pressure. Not what I want to deal with when I'm trying to shop. Bass Pro shouldn't be putting their customers through that. Just my 2 cents.

Bass Pro Shops in Harrisburg is basically Disneyland for anyone who owns flannel. They’ve got a giant fish tank that I desperately want to swan dive into. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and somehow not alarmed when I press my face against the glass whispering, “soon, my friends.”
The outdoor selection is so good it makes me want to live in a tent, and now I just need to convince my husband that true marital bliss can be purchased in the form of a shiny new boat. Wish me luck - because until then, I’ll just be loitering by the fish tank planning my escape.

Place gets worse ever time I go in there. Shelves are empty never have what I need in stock then tonight I drive 40 minutes to pick up parts for my boat half of what I needed is out of stock, even though it shows available at the store on there web site. Grab what few things I could go to the check out there’s 30 people in line 1 check out open and the guys slow as a snail. Go to customer service there credit card machines acting up taking my bass pro card. There solution go to club booth get a temp card. Not a soul in site. So after 40 minute drive and hour in the store I left empty handed. For a multi billion dollar company bass pro has become a joke. No where near what they use to be. Time to shop elsewhere. Not much point in shopping at a store that always out of stock.
