This review is specifically for the gun counter. Tried to purchase a rifle today a little before 5pm (they close at 7:00pm on Sunday) and waited in line behind 4 other people, just trying to check in. Not a single employee talked to either of us for almost 45 minutes as we all stood there wondering what was going on. Even got to listen to other employees joke amongst themselves about how “they lost all of their unregistered firearms in a boating accident”, as they all ignored the que in front of them.
When an employee finally asked what we were all waiting for we got a “oh, it’s too late to do any gun sales right now” it was 5:40pm. No apologies, no solutions, anything. I’ve been to multiple gun stores and not a single one has taken more than an hour to fill out paperwork. What a complete joke and waste of time. I’ll be purchasing my rifle elsewhere.

Today, I was helped by Teel J in the Fishing dept. He was very kind & helpful. All I needed was to replace my 12 lb test w/ 15 lb test. Teel J went the extra mile offering to put the old line on a spool for me to use as a leader.
Teel J & his outstanding customer service is why we keep coming back to Pro Bass Shop!!!!👌

We love bass pro! But unfortunately, the professional in the hunting clothing section was not available for quite some time and it was a bit hard to get the help of a pro. Three associates came to help me, but none of them knew anything about the department I had questions regarding.
Finally, someone came and was able to answer my questions.
Otherwise a great experience!

Went and bought shirts from this location and upon checkout Denise was very unpleasant to deal with. Later that night when I got home about 2 hours from the location I take the shirts to wash them out of the bag and they still have a security tag on my 5.11 shirt. I call to see if I can have this issue resolved without driving 2 hours and they say they will call me back the next day. I have yet to receive a call.

It is frustrating to see a store go downhill like this. I used to love the convenience of a quick stop here on the way out to fish but the last several times I’ve stopped here the fishing section has had 1-3 people working to serve a store packed full people so I end up spending close to 30 minutes trying to get help. I know places can be understaffed but I’ve even tried coming different times of day and it’s the same story. And it’s the fishing section so I can’t even imagine what the other sections are like if they don’t care about the main focus of the store. This has been an issue for almost a year. At some point it would just make more sense to shop at turners.. I hate to leave a negative review but it is frustrating to see the store I prefer going in this direction. And it’s not that the workers are slow or don’t want to help, it’s that there are hardly any of them there. The only reason I continue come back is for the help that the fishing workers do provide (when I am finally able to talk to them). I was helped by both James and Brian. I want to thank them both because James was knowledgeable on the location I fish and helped me get a new set up which ended up helping me catch like crazy and Brian was very apologetic about their wait times and went above and beyond to make sure I could get back on the road asap. Bass pro you gotta do something
