This was a great experience. actors were in their roles. very active in either scaring you, or even make you smile (if you are really scared). from actors outside to the characters inside.
decoration, and the amount of efforts that has been put in this place really requires five star by itself.
once you are done with the main attraction, there is part two. with your 3D glasses, you will be amazed of how much planning the team has done to give you the ultimate experience.
my favorite part was the tunnel at the end which confuses your brain with the 3D affects.

I went to this haunted house because it had great reviews — and it completely exceeded my expectations. I drove about an hour and a half to get there, and it was absolutely worth it. Parking was easy, and check-in was simple.
I really appreciated that the staff actively monitored the VIP line. I paid for VIP access, and when a group tried to sneak in, an employee immediately caught them and sent them back to the regular line. That attention was awesome.
The costumes, makeup, and set design were top-notch — honestly, some of the best I’ve seen. There were plenty of actors throughout the haunted houses, which made the experience even better. Each attraction was long enough that it felt like I got my money’s worth.
I went to the Joliet Prison haunted house last year and wasn’t too impressed, but this place blew it out of the water in every way — from presentation to customer care to overall energy.
Highly recommend this haunted house. I’ll definitely be coming back next year!

Stars for the actors' screaming abilities. The experience was brief. Main factors were: Ongoing shrieking. Ongoing banging. Ongoing strobe lights. Ongoing things hanging from the ceiling. 75% animatronics, 25% actors. Peekaboo jump-scares every couple of minutes, but nothing particularly creative. Just "is someone around the corner... again?" Sprinkle in creative decorations and that was pretty much the gist of it.
The neon 3-D experience felt more like a missed opportunity for a dance party. It was very cool to look at. There was one actor that somehow managed to continuously hang out in the spinning tunnel... get that human a raise.
Our group had never been to this particular location. We brought a friend who had never been to a haunted house and was so scared to go. But when we were suddenly outside her reaction was... "That's it?"
So maybe it's a good starter experience for the haunted house noobies. Build up that bravery. $42 felt steep for what we encountered and the duration. Based on other reviews my crew looks to be an outlier, so maybe we are just snobby.
Anyway, I hope visitors feel nice and creeped out - stay spooky folks!
Notes
- Went on a Friday
- Group of 7 spooky-stuff lovers
- Arrived around 9pm, regular line was long, we had purchased VIP in advance and went in after a few minutes
- Parked a few blocks away to avoid traffic

extremely fun & worth the price to get vip admission, instead of waiting for two hours, we got in within maybe 5-10 minutes. they did a great job of separating groups, so you don’t end up in a clump of 15+ people where all of the scares are ruined. i’ve been to many haunts, and this is certainly one of the best. they have a dj booth playing music while you’re in line, which is a great touch and pumps up the vibes. the scare actors all seem so genuinely excited to be there, interact, and scare of course! which makes a hugeee difference. they really work to entertain and scare you, they balance the animatronics and actors ratio perfectly. the entrance room before you start is so sick, and i loved all of the silent hill like props/design in the first few walkways. shoutout to the ballerina & the piggyman, they were my fav actors 😍🙏🏻

I drove one and a half hours, by myself because my wife is not a fan of scary-in-your-face stuff. I got the VIP ticket and was in in a jiffy. It was an amazing experience. The actors were extra scary when they notice I was by myself (I got separated from the rest of my group because the front was a tough guy and the back was a family) but they were very helpful when they saw I was kind of lost in the dark (I have really big glasses.)
This was great! It got my heart racing, my blood pumping and my sweat sweating. And right when I thought it was over I went into the clown section...yup...you heard that right...with extra sauce that I'm not gonna spoil cause you got to come!
All in all well worth the price, the drive, and the not-wait!
