  This was our first time at the Base Camp, and we WILL be back. The rest/shower rooms were immaculate! Much cleaner and more roomy than other campgrounds. The super-wide sites were a welcome change too! Even thought the camp was quite full, we didn’t hear hardly anyone else for the duration of our stay. Thanks for having a great place to be!

  This campground was the perfect spot for our trip to the Sand Dunes. It was only about a 23 minute drive from camp. The shower house was so nice and clean. The views from camp were beautiful. The RV spots were huge so that’s a big plus!

  Great spot when traveling thru Colorado and near Great Sand Dunes NP. Sites are large with lots of space between each camper. Host was very helpful during our stay. Facilities are very clean as well. Close to Alamosa and what the twin has to offer is an added plus.

  This place was very nice with wide, long pull thru sites. The bathhouse was clean and spacious and conveniently located in the middle of the park. Laundry was inexpensive and looked like newer machines. Not much for other amenities (yet??). Looks like they were in the process of expanding when we were there.
