The Barro’s Pizza recipe comes from Grandma Angelina Barro who came from Italy in the 1930’s, providing a pizza unlike any other. People may disagree on whether it's the thick crust with its light, flakey texture, which almost melts in your mouth, or the wonderful spiced sauce that is the secret of this great tasting pizza. Barro’s Pizza also provides wings, salads, sandwiches, pastas, gluten-free pizza options, dessert, beer and wine.
Already paid for 2 slices of pizza went back up for the specialty on Friday. I tried to pay and the pos went down on every station. After 3 minutes I asked if I could eat my cold pizza and pay when its up and running. She said no. She doesn't think she can do that. I stand longer waiting before giving up and walking away. If I was the manager, I would have given the slice of the pizza away. Your system went down. You gave me a total and I gave you payment. If something goes wrong dont let the customer stand up front for 10 minutes waiting on you while the pizza gets cold. Bad form, I walked away without my pizza.

Barros has the best tasting pizza in the greater Phoenix area. I order there pizza to go. My order is always ready when I get there and the employees and managers treat you the way you like to be treated.During COVID we lived off of take out food and we lived off of there pizza's.

We have used this Barro's pizza for some time. However, our last experience was quite disappointing. I called ahead by 2 hours to make sure our pizza would delivered on time for a party. I got assurances it would there on time. When delivery time came, I got a call from an employee who informed me they were just starting the pizza, so it would be another half hour to 45 minutes before the food would arrive. There was no explanation or concern on the part of the person who called at all. I did call back and spoke with Todd the manager who also did not show much concern but said the ticket got "lost". I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of customer service and he then offered to refund half the cost of my order. I waited a few days and didn't see any refund, so I called him back. He said it would take a couple of days, but again, there was no apology or concern that this was even an issue. Two weeks later, no refund. It's not the money. Even though we like the pizza, customer service is important. We won't go back there; we will go out of our way to go to a different Barro's.
