Pizzas come and go, each city claims its own, every neighborhood has its go to, all folks have a different take, not all pizza is the same. This list can go on and on. But when it comes to legitimate pizza, that’s American style pizza, the traditional pizza that’s a whole different story. Whether a Pizzaphile, Pizzaholic, Pizza Pazzo or just a Piezanno, you have your own choices from deep dish, thin crust, ooey-gooey, traditional, BBQ, white, red, spinach or sausage, for as many pizza pie lover in the U.S. there are more than enough varieties to quench our desire for this American standby stolen from the beloved Italiani. We’ve had our share of pizza in our lifetimes from the great to the not so great, but I tend to be a traditionalist! My wife is not – that’s another story. I love good taste, fresh ingredients, occasional assortment of addons, traditional flavorings, an exceptional doe, a legitimate preparation, maybe some extra goodies – not much. Barro’s Pizza brings this to me. I’m glad we have Barro’s across the state to quench my desires when they erupt. There are a lot of expensive and cheap pizzerias in Arizona, but again, Barro’s brings home the combo of my New York roots with the Chicagoan perfection. Grandi Avventure e muncharé bono.
