I’ve been going to Barre3 for almost two years now and I still get excited for each class. The classes are the perfect mix of strength, cardio, and mindfulness. The studio is clean, welcoming, and has a great community vibe. The classes are always different each week and challenge me every time.

The barre class was sooooo good! The instructor was super nice and gave lots of options. I was sweating and working but felt amazing afterward. I wish I lived in Toronto!

I purchased a 10-class package and have attended three classes so far. The classes are typically full, but since the studio hosts smaller groups compared to other fitness studios, there’s still enough room to move comfortably. I’ve taken classes with Madeleine, Allison, and Haley — all of whom are great! They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and lead challenging workouts that definitely make you feel the burn. I’m usually sore for a few days afterward! Depending on the instructor, you’ll use some equipment like small ball, resistance bands, sliders, and weights. So far, I’ve found I prefer Haley’s classes a bit more. She offers helpful corrections and maintains a slightly more manageable pace, which I really appreciate. With the other instructors, the pace and transitions sometimes feel a bit too fast for my liking. The studio amenities include lockers with built-in locks, face towels, and a water station for bottle refills. There are two washrooms available, though showers were not in service during my visits. A few things to note — they don’t have an active phone line, and getting in touch online can be a bit difficult. Because of this, I tend to book last minute to avoid needing to make changes or rebook. Also, it’s important to arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and getting settled, as they start sessions right on the dot!

I tried several times over a week to redeem the remaining classes on my package—emails and phone calls all went unanswered. This consistent silence feels like deliberate avoidance rather than an oversight, and it’s disappointing from a studio that touts community and accountability. Until barre3 Toronto demonstrates reliable customer service and honours pre-paid sessions, I’d advise prospective clients to think twice before purchasing any class packages.
