🥰COMPASSIONATE, 🥹 CARING,⏰️ ACCESSIBLE, 🤕🤒KNOWLEDGEABLE, 💯%DEVOTED, 💬HONEST...
These descriptions all describe Dr. AZID👨⚕️ and his wonderful team!!
I really can not say enough wonderful comments on "AZIZ ANIMAL HOSPITAL."
Just recently, my daughter's kitty 😺 got out! When he finally came back, he had major injuries! We were devastated! 😭 He was attacked by a possum. (obviously being an indoor kitty, he didn't know to stay away from them) His back leg was completely torn open. Litterly, no skin was left at the open wound. It was horrifying to see this little kitty be in so much pain.
Dr. Aziz had a challenge on his hands. The wound needed to be cleaned and stitched up ASAP. However, there wasn't any flesh left there to stitch the wound closed. So he tried to use the surrounding skin to close it the best he could 🤔. However, sadly, the skin died. So the Doc had to put him under again. This time, he gently used the new skin tissue that had started to grow. He stitched and stapled the area the best that he could.
One problem that we continuously had to deal with was the plastic hood. He wanted to clean himself, as kitties do. However, when he thought he was washing himself, it caused the edges of the hood to rub against his wound and kept opening it back up!! 😭 Doc kept doing his best to keep it closed. It was so disheartening. So, I worked on the hood to soften the edges and side up. Praise God, it helped!
So, little by little, the area started to heal.🤗
BUT THEN, something else happened from out of nowhere!! Complete mystery! There was another OPEN area on his belly!! You could see more bite wounds, too!
The only thing the Doc could think of after a process of elimination (because Kitty did NOT get out of the house this time) was it was probably a spider bite! I could not even grasp that a spider bite could cause such a huge, horrible open wound! But again, it can cause the skin to die, leaving the area as damaged as his leg was!!
Again, all of us were in complete shock! Doc had to start all over again, just like he had to do with his leg.
During this long process of trying to heal this little kitty of such a serious wounds, he almost died. He was so weak that he could barely hold his head up, eat, or drink. He was on antibiotics to fight any infections, but in return, he didn't feel well enough to eat.
If it wasn't for Doc, his team, and a lot of prayers 🙏 to God, our kitty would not have made it! Doc even had me bringing him in daily at one point to keep an eye on things.
It was a LONG and painful process 😪 for this precious little boy, but NOW he is as good as new! He has put all of his weight back on and is very healthy after such a long ordeal!
My daughter & I truly cannot thank Doc and his team enough! 🥰🤗☺️🥰
* One side note:
The 1st time that I went there, I was kind of surprised by the outward appearance of the business. All of my years of having animals, I've always gone to a close by vet practice, who I value and treasure dearly. It is a large practice, with many doctors with a high class/sterilized appearance.
So, as I was saying before, the outward appearance was not what I would have expected. However, you can't judge a book by its cover as they say!!
This is one doctor who owns his own business, loves his patients, and treats them with the best care that he possibly can. Oh, and if he feels that he is not capable of being able to do what is best for your pets personal case, he will let you know that as well.
One thing that is awesome is that Dr. Aziz has some equipment that allows your pets bloodwork to be processed right away!
Now, just an FYI, they do not have an over night Hospital stay available, where as larger offices do because they have more staff. So keep that in mind.
And lastly, Dr. Aziz is Greek. So, at times, he can be hard to understand. But that is where his wonderful staff comes in as well! They help you to completely understand him and vice versa.😉
So, if you have a pet that needs to be seen by a kind and genuine doctor, try Dr. AZIZ!!
