Two years ago in August, I signed up to AIM in Houston to earn my A&P license, and this by far, to this day is the best decision I have made to better my life. I have not only gained great mentors along the way but I’m also in a completely better tax bracket. I was able to gain my A&P license thanks to the instructors, administration staff, and career services, shout out to Mrs. Kai, who worked relentlessly after I finished school to help me get a job within 2 months of finishing. Yes, there were up and downs, but like anything in life you have to work hard for it, they don’t hand out A&P’s, so when you earn yours, you know you worked hard for it. You will see bad reviews but that’s because some students are not taking their education seriously, if you are serious about becoming an aviation mechanic, then this is a great place to start!
