This property was once a great place to live, but unfortunately, it has become increasingly unsafe. The previous property manager was removed under circumstances I won’t detail here. We were informed via email that new management would be taking over, yet the office remains closed, and there’s been little to no visible presence or communication since.

i am a current resident at avia lofts and out of all the places i have lived this is probably the best community i have ever encountered. Michelle (office manager) went above and beyond to make sure i have been happy as a current tenant and truly cares about giving her absolute best tenant & future tenant service. Highly recommended, Thanks avia lofts

This is a wonderful place to live. This complex used to be a Marriot condo hotel. Unlike most complexes in PDX, this one has air conditioning in each unit. The manager, Michelle, rocks and the maintenance guy, Brad, is also top notch. Issues are dealt with swiftly. EDIT: It WAS a great place when Michelle was here. I haven't seen Brad since June. As another comment states, Michelle was let go under BS circumstances. Communication with the new property manager is spotty at best, and she doesn't seem interested in getting to know the tenants here. Lately, the property manager and the management company have been attempting to bully and take advantage of people's ignorance about moving out. For those unaware: you DO NOT have to give 60 days notice. That's how it rolls on the east coast and in TX. Lease agreements out there will state it. Thankfully, we are neither of those places. They are trying to enforce what goes down in those places on people here in the Pacific Northwest. The minimum you're required to give is 20 days. Don't let them bully you into paying some asinine extra month or two of rent just because they say so. There is all kinds of nickel and diming when it comes to fees. If you have pets, you have to register them on some stupid third party website each year at a rate of $35 per animal. It's so stupid! Some third party insurance company called Confirm Insurance loves attempting to ramrod their BS $15 fee on unsuspecting tenants. They most likely aren't on your lease agreement. Tell them to pound sand! Get a lawyer involved if you must. Confirm has a reputation for blindsiding unsuspecting tenants with BS fees they weren't made aware of when they signed their lease. Stick to your guns and never relent when they come along demanding you pay an extra $15 a month. Landscaping has gone the way of the dodo here. Grass is no longer being watered for some reason. Bushes are no longer being trimmed. Landscapers only show up to blow dirt, leaves, and other debris into a pile to haul it away. Onsite security company hasn't been seen in months. The parking situation has become insanely bad. If you aren't back before 2000 (8pm), you're SOL. Ants are common in many of the units. Many tenants went from content to discontent after Michelle's departure. Michelle and Brad were the people who made this place work.

The maintenance person, Brad is great and making sure important issues are handled in a timely manner, he handles the entire property himself and does a great job at it. Michelle is the manager and she's always on top of keeping the residents needs cared for and goes out of her way to help people. She's very respectful and professional.
