  We have lived here almost a year, and Avant has been such an amazing place to live. Sam made it very easy to move in, and is so kind and professional with any question or need. Any need for a maintenance request they have been quick with responses, and found solutions. It is a relaxing environment, and very friendly.

  I lived at Avant from 2022-2025, staying in the same unit the whole time (1 bed, 1 bath). The good: 1. Overall, the building was relatively clean. I never experienced any pest issues or felt like the area was not well maintained. 2. Location. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. 3. Package room is a nice feature. 4. Gym was a good place to exercise. The bad: 1. Rent increases of 10% or more each year. It doesn’t matter if you were a long-time tenant with a perfect rent payment history; your rent was going up. And the best part is, new tenants get a better deal than you! You can often search for the available units and find they are going for cheaper than your current space. I understand rent increases, but 10% on already overpriced units is beyond ridiculous. 2. Fees. There are fees for everything. This place will try to find any excuse to get a few bucks from you, even after you move out. 3. Constant smell of weed. Despite clearly saying in the lease that smoking weed in the building will result in lease termination, certain hallways always reeked of the smell. Forbidden dog breed rules were also not enforced. I don’t like paying premium prices to smell dope. 4. No security cameras in the parking lot. I had all 4 wheels on my car stolen, and nothing could be done about it as there was no footage of the incident. 5. Thin walls 6. Proximity to the highway: In my personal opinion, the side of the building facing the highway would be impossible to live on as the noise is very loud. Overall, it was okay living here the first year, but now with the price of my unit over $2000 a month, plus fees, I would personally look elsewhere.

  I would not recommend leasing here. The air conditioning in my unit was broken since I moved in. They have yet to fix that. The dishwasher is crusted in rust and the hot water in the shower barely lasts 20 min. I also discovered roaches not even a couple days into living here. I’m not sure where the positive reviews are coming in from but I’d steal clear from this apartment complex.

  I have lived at Avant for 2.5 years, and it has been a great experience! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Got new owners about a year ago and they have made some great improvements to the building. Special shoutout to Leonard, the maintenance guy, who has been there to fix all my problems very promptly and always with a smile on his face!
