- BMBob MartinJul 28, 20255.0Our wood floor installation (done in 3 senate steps) was a very positive experience. The installers were excellent, zero problems, each step done in a day, great clean-up. Our sales lady Aspasia and measuring lady Jillian were professional, friendly and helpful. The only inconvenience was having to store the wood in our dining room to allow it to adjust to our indoor temps and humidity. We survived and now can enjoy our beautiful new floors. ❤️

Do you do installations?
Yes, we can install new products from our showrooms with our certified installers. Avalon Flooring installations are always completed by insured subcontractors who understand the latest installation methods for all of our products for smooth installation in your home.
Do you offer free measuring services?
Yes, we offer free measuring services for our customers. Once a customer visits a showroom or completes a virtual consultation and makes selections, one of our professional estimators will visit the home to properly measure the space for the selected materials.
Do you charge for installation?
A: Yes, there is an additional charge for installation of any of our products. One of our store associates can help you understand the fee involved for your specific installation.
Can I send someone to shop “in-store” for my customer?
We welcome customers for in-store and virtual consultations for all flooring projects. Our store associates are happy to help you make your selection and to answer any questions you may have about your flooring project.
Do you carry felt under-padding for area rugs?
Yes, we carry synthetic felt under-padding for your area rug. Visit one of our showrooms for our full selection of area rug under-padding.
Are rug remnants for sale? Do you have a good supply of remnants and bound area rugs?
We carry remnants in our Rio Grande, NJ and Toms River, NJ showrooms. We also offer a full selection of ready-made rugs as well as an opportunity for custom rugs from a wide variety of vendors and brands.
Do you carry Tec grout?
Yes we do! Please visit your local showroom to view our selection of Tec grout.
Do you carry grout and mortar?
Yes, we carry a wide range of installation materials, including grout and mortar. We are a full stocking dealer of your most common grout and mortar brands, including TEC, Schluter, Wedi and more.
Do I need an appointment to talk to a store associate about my flooring or window project?
Appointments are not required in our showrooms and we do accept walk-ins. However, we do recommend making an appointment to speak with one of our store associates if you plan to arrive during peak visiting hours. Call your local showroom for an appointment.
Do you sell vinyl plank flooring?

Do you sell stair treads and runners?
Yes, we sell custom runners for your staircases. We also carry a selection of wood-look stair treads that coordinate well with our flooring options. We do not carry carpet stair treads at this time.
Do you carry indoor and outdoor carpeting?

Do you take credit cards?
Yes, each of our showrooms accepts all major credit cards as payment, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Please call your local showroom if you have any questions.
Do you do floor repairs?
In the case of any error made during installation of an Avalon Flooring project, we can follow up with necessary repairs. We do not offer general floor repair services.
Do you do floor refinishing?
We do not offer floor refinishing services.
Do you do carpet stretching?
We offer stretching for carpet that was originally installed by the Avalon Flooring team. Our carpet stretching services are available for a fee. Call your store associate or local showroom for details.
What is your return policy for excess products (i.e. tile, laminate planks, etc.)?

Do you provide samples to bring home for review?
Many of our products do have samples that can be brought home. Depending on the product, you may be able to take those samples home the same day, or we may have to ship them to your home. For example, for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we offer $5 samples that can be shipped directly to your home, while carpet samples are often available in store for customers to take home.
Can I place an order online?
At this time, we do not handle online orders. We encourage you to take a first look at our website to view the products we offer, and then to visit a showroom to see the products in person and make your selection.
