I was there within the last week while I was there. I cannot remember the exact date but, the manager named Matt was extremely rude. He kept huffing and puffing while I was in the store, he was constantly on his phone and going in and out of the store for long periods of time. The younger kid who was working was the only one working. I noticed the manager, Matt, didn’t help at all, he stood there leaned over the counter just watching and didn’t even offer to help. I even heard the younger guy ask for help. When I went to the bathroom I noticed a lot of freight that needed to be put away and the only one doing it was the younger guy. This manger also made rude comments to the younger guy. He made the experience just very unpleasant and I was uncomfortable the entire time I was there. I don’t think he should be working there at all. Matt, the manager, is a bigger guy with longer hair and his body odor was unpleasant as well. He barely did his job too which was disappointing. I asked if he was going to help and he said no it’s not my job. He also made a comment saying “red shirts do everything and since I’m a manager I don’t have to do anything because it’s not my job.” He looks dirty and unkept.
Please take this into heavy consideration and I hope one of the bosses sees this. I really feel for the younger guy because he looked exhausted, annoyed, and uncomfortable due to this Matt’s guy attitude being so unpleasant.

I don’t know whether to think that the person who attended me has not yet woken up or it was just a sign of displeasure or racism for being Hispanic, when attending to me he did not show the slightest interest in helping me, I burst the internal rearview mirror of my car and he did not have the will to show a better service. Apparently my English wasn’t enough

Came in to see if they could test my battery, and not only were they able to do that, when it came up as a bad battery, Tyler helped me change out the old for a new one.
Honestly, all I did was hold the flashlight and Tyler did the hard parts. Im super thankful.

As a Christian, I make the effort to commend companies that treat their customers fairly. Autozone has always done right by me - from quality parts, to helpful associates. But this time, it was the store manager Cheryl Reed, at the store on 5th street in Tyler Tx, that really made an extra effort to resolve a problem concerning a return. It takes a manager of experience to resolve a customer's problem patiently and courteously, and that she did. It completed the picture of a company that provides good value and service - thanks Autozone.
