  I stopped here the other day and had a pleasant experience with the staff. David, the parts sales manager went out of his way to assist me. I usually don't get much help at the other places. I'm definitely going to keep going there. BONUS TIP: Join the rewards program...I got $20 credit to use towards my purchase.

  Went in to buy locking lug nuts. Was pleased to be offered help right away. When I told him what I was looking for, he asked “What vehicle?”, and I answered “Home made utility trailer. I brought one of the regular nuts.” His response was “We may be here all day looking,” which was a pretty effective way of making a customer wish he’d chosen the other nearby parts store. It’s also a great way for an employee to share how little he values his job. It’s also absurd, because there’s only a handful of possible sizes and there was a thread-checking tool right at the display. Thankfully (for me, at least), we found what I needed in about 60 seconds. 3 stars for actually having the product, decent price and fast checkout. It would have been an easy 5 stars, if, instead of lamenting how much work it would be to find what I needed, he chose something simple like “Let’s see what we have.” It takes so little effort to be polite and professional, costs nothing, and everyone has a better experience as a result. I hope this AutoZone associate (and his supervisor) find their reasons to appreciate the value of walk-in customers.
