I contacted them just a few days ago. The salesman sounded great and like he would help me in finding my next mower. I went by on Wednesday, and they closed at noon. Despite Google Maps saying otherwise. After reading the reviews and finding them closed in the middle of the week, I have gone elsewhere. And now I have a new BadBoy ZT Elite 54" Zero Turn with 27HP. Too bad for Athens Lawn & Garden; they missed out on a sale. I was also going to get some accessories for my old mower, but unfortunately, they were closed.

I'm here today to brag on these boys everyone on there staff is top notch it's been the best experience I've ever had buying equipment if your mower tears up they fix it no excuses I've had bad experiences in the past at other places but the way they served me today let me know i made the right choice I would recommend them to everyone and I will never get equipment anywhere else as long as I live thanks and god bless .

For the second time, had trouble getting the correct part for my equipment and had to make a second trip across town and take the equipment with me to make sure it was right.
This time, it was my Husqvarna 145BT backpack blower.
I needed a new primer bulb and was very specific about the make and model two days before.
When I went back today, I found that the previous representative had given me the wrong part number item. Today's representative got the right part and then informed me that the cost was the same. I told him the cost should not be different. At least he did get it right unlike the previous guy.
Wasted time and gas money just to get the right item.
The last time something like this happened, I had told the representative that I needed gas and oil caps and and air filter for my Stihl chainsaw. Gave him the detailed model info and was informed that Stihl didn't make a chainsaw with that model number (see my previous review on this business). Took the chainsaw down and set it up on the desk in front of him. "Oh, I guess I made a mistake"...
I try to use local businesses for whatever I need but this kind of service is making it very hard to do that. Maybe I made the mistake.....

Bought a 13,000 dollar mower from them. The mower currently has 96 hours on it and will not start. They tell me 6 weeks to diagnose and wouldn’t even give prices for parts for me to fix myself. What is even worse is that I brought my mother here to buy a 7,000 dollar mower here this spring. All of the commercial guys get top notch service but if you’re a nobody you might as well take your business somewhere else. They’re very helpful and all smiles if you want to buy equipment but once you buy it you’re on your own unless it’s weedeater string or 2 stroke oil.

I gave Athens Lawn and Garden one star, only so I could leave a comment to warn others...not only did I have to wait in line for 23 minutes with only one person in front of me (who's only concern was the weather) only to get taken advantage of! Please listen to this advice... TAKE YOUR OWN LARGE JAR OF VASELINE. It will make the process less painful.
