- DDDianeOct 13, 20253.0Two outages in a month. One lasting 24 hrs and the other 18. I'm about to switch to Gfiber. Astound gives zero explanation. The only way to get reimbursed is to call. I know Gfiber automatically reimburses and is out for a much shorter time, less often. I had to have Astound change my modem because it wouldn't switch between the 2.5 and 5ghz like it should for my Ring Doorbell after their outage.
