- ICI am Content3 days ago1.0I had regular interruptions to my service and several times had to have service techs come to my house (I had to take off work to be home) and finally was told I had to have one of their modems if I wanted internet so he installed it (I already had a netgear modem I had just got from best buy). Anyhow, I still kept getting regular interruptions to my service so after trying online and finally getting thru to customer service I cancelled my service. A month later I get a bill for $130 for a modem that didnt work. If I had been told by the representative at the time of cancelling I would have returned it. The modem is crap and there’s no way they can use an out of date modem for another customer yet they want another $130. Do yourself a favor and do some research and price other companies. If Astound gave me service for free I wouldn’t want it.

How long does it take for services to be installed at my home?
You can schedule a move up to 30 days prior to your move in date. If you’re eligible for self-installation then services can be activated as soon as you move in.
