- RBRobert Barbarello3 days ago1.0I was a long time Astound customer. Finally decided to change to another service because Astound kept raising the price. Switched to another company that is charging me half the amount of what Astound costs for faster internet. Be aware Astound WILL NOT pro-rate your bill if you cancel in the middle of billing cycle. Absolutely predatory business practice. Astound has lost a customer for life. I would never use their service again period.

- DGDillon Goetz5 days ago2.0Internet works, most of the time, as intended but the sales person Erik Estevez completely lied during the sales process. I was promised 1 free line of mobile, $200 gift card, and symmetrical download/upload speeds. Literally none of these things were true upon signing up. Customer Service said there's nothing they can do about it, and he hasn't responded to any of my followups by the way. Wildly terrible business practice, absolutely do not recommend. Also in one of the biggest buildings in LIC and Astound, which has fiber optic available in parts of LIC, doesn't have it here (which explains why Erik lied about symmetrical speeds). Result: my wfh video calls regularly sputter, I overpaid for internet that is fine but not great, and I didn't get any of the promised incentives.
