- VTVictoria Thaxton5 days ago1.0My apartment only allows Astound as an internet provider as they have a contract with them. Luckily I saw they were running a discount on their website as I just needed WiFi for my coursework and tests on my computer. They offered a fall discount of $60 with a monthly charge of $50. My first bill came out to $125. I could overlook getting charged extra as long as I had good WiFi for my exams. However my WiFi has turned on and off repeatedly within the first 24 hours of being installed and actually quit working during one of my proctored exams. I had to get on the phone with the school to explain the situation when my exam froze and disclose to the school which internet provider was giving me faulty internet connection. They were appalled to say the least. I almost failed an exam because of their WiFi! If you are a student that needs WiFi do not choose this company.

Never had a problem with my internet until this weekend but it got fixed quickly. I got told he’d be here between 8-12pm and he got here at 9 which was awesome. Very thankful for his knowledge on what to do to fix the problem .
