About

Ski Resort
Of our four mountains, Aspen Highlands avoids the spotlight, which is perfectly fine with the locals and in-the-know skiers and riders who tackle its uncrowded slopes. Hike the ridge to Highland Bowl for the sweetest run of your life, or simply cruise along the mid-mountain groomers off the Cloud Nine chairlift. Views over the valley to the snow-covered Maroon Bells constantly will remind you: this is Colorado at its best.

The shuttle for maroon bells starts from here. Although you book tickets for it, an additional parking fee is required. But the place is good as a hub for many activities.

Aspen Highlands is absolutely incredible hiking the back bowl is gnarly in the best way possible. The views are unreal and the runs are steep, technical, and full of adrenaline. Most of the terrain here is no joke, so if you’re not an experienced skier or rider, I’d recommend sticking to Snowmass where things are a bit more forgiving. But if you love challenging terrain and earning your turns, Highlands is the place to be. It’s pure mountain magic for advanced riders.

They employees are the most rude people I’ve ever interacted with. They talked down to me like I was a child and an idiot and then her instructions were still wrong.
