It is best to wash clothing printed with a heat transfer inside out to reduce wear on the design. The water should be cold to keep the cotton fibers from peeling away from the clothing as well.
What are the advantages of heat transfers over screen printing?
Heat transfers are the better option for complex, intricate designs because multiple colors can be printed at once in contrast to screen printing. With heat transfers, photo replication is possible, and transfers provide higher resolution compared to screen printing too. In addition, heat transfers are the more affordable option if you are ordering a small quantity since they don’t require as much setup as screen printing.
