  Great tex-mex food. When Arod’s is hitting on all cylinders it’s a no brainer 5 star. On days like today when things aren’t quite right, it’s still really good. The quesadillas today were less cheesy than the tacos normally are, but they were loaded with meat. The beans were not seasoned like they normally are; when they are at their best both the rice and beans are so good you’d be happy to make a meal with them. Arod is a great guy and very personable, but even he can’t elevate the atmosphere of a strip mall or food court.

  Awesome food and great prices. Great taste and large portions. We felt like we were on the Riverwalk in San Antonio !

  Ordered from here after browsing Doordash for some quick, local tacos/burritos for pickup. Our order was almost completely wrong. We ordered the 2 Chicken Tacos w/Sides (no onion, double beans) and some Chicken Nachos (no onion, no sour cream). When I opened the box I had 2 chicken tacos covered with onion and double rice instead of double beans. The chicken nachos not only had onion and sour cream all over them, but additionally had lettuce and tomato on them which is not what the site nor Doordash advertised. The tacos were super flavorful, I have to admit, and if the order had been right, this would probably be a 4 star review at least. The service was alright, just a friendly guy working the counter, but felt kind of like they were trying to keep me there by talking about the deals and stuff and how it's cheaper to order it through the website. I totally get it - just trying to make polite conversation, but I really needed to get in and out. I'll maybe give it a shot again in a few months, but I'll be checking my order before I walk out the door.

  I stopped in for lunch after hearing from someone I know this was a good Mexican spot for lunch Placed an order online for a lunch take out . When I arrived at the time of the pickup order was not ready : in fact my online order ticket was still in the machine and no one had realized it was there . Was told to wait 10 minutes and it would be out . I had ordered the four quesadillas plate without beans nor rice . Plate came with beans and rice : I do not like waste and this was wasteful . Again , it feels like the order had not been properly looked at as requested . Quesadillas were very greasy and overly salty . By the time I started eating them they were dripping with grease . French fries were raw on the inside and almost overcooked and over seasoned on the outside . I think they rushed these too much to make up for time of forgotten order , as it was not properly cooked . Shame because they advertised as fresh . The portions are big and if that is something you value then I give them that . I feel perhaps they might have had a bad day on that day, even though there was no one in the store when I arrived : completely empty . It’s unfortunate but in my experience there are other Mexican locations in town with better quality food and service .
