  The room was dirty. Refrigerator was gross. No kleenex. No shower gell and no towels. The counter top below the TV was dusty and dirty. Bathroom floor had hair all over it. I've loved staying at the Argosy the is the first time with this experience. I will stay again and give them a chance to redeem themselves. Casino was great and the restaurant food was fabulous. They need to inspect the house keepers regular.b They did make it right with me after complaining to my casino host. She's the best.

  Upon entering my room found 2 issues 1- entrance hall lights inoperable, 2- Safe was locked open and I couldn't use it. Called front desk to inform them of issues, rang 2-3 times then cutoff? Called operator informed her issues, she said she would resolve issues. Waited 90 minutes, nobody showed up. Went to casino, passed by front desk, so I stopped and reported issues to desk personnel. Which he (had purple tinted hair) apologized and said he will take care of situation, during that time another co-worker (young woman) came and listened to the issues, turned and upon walking away said very loudly "Emergency call maintenance" , and repeated it again. He told me to go back to my room and maintenance will be there shortly. Waited another hour nobody showed up, so I went to get food, and went back. Started eating and watching TV, fell asleep, woke up 12:30am lost my feelings to go to Casino went back to bed. Woke up early still lost feeling to gamble or eat breakfast, so I went home early that morning. Thinking about the whole incident felt like she was mocking me, and not playing with her co-worker

  My wife noticed on the night stand that there was coffee or something spilled all over it so she decided to pull back the sheets and the same substance was all over the sheets. She went to the hotel counter and they told her the maid service went home for the night and said my wife could go back to the room and take the sheets back to the desk and they gave her new sheets for my wife to take back to the room and make our bed. When I asked the manager on duty she simple said” I’m bad at making beds so you wouldn’t want me to make it” I told her I would rather she made then us because we paid to be here and should have already been cleaned. I guess if you stay here pull the bedding back before you get in bed and be prepared to act as maid service for yourself here.

  Received some of the worst customer service of my life, asked to speak to the manager, was told they're not here, they'll be here tomorrow and they will call me. Never received that call, so called back to speak to a manager, went thru my problems I had had, was told it would be looked into, then I asked for their name to find out it was the same woman I had a problem with in person during checkout and she had lied to me when I asked for a manager. The room was supposed to be paid for with Penn cash, but after confirming on the phone and in person during check in, during check out was told I had been incorrectly informed and I was SOL. There was nothing she could do to help me or try to provide a solution so was very disappointed when called back for the "manager" and spoke to the same person who said they weren't there. Also received shabby service at the restaurant Hops house and in the casino

  I have stayed there numerous times over the years and never had a visit as miserable as this one was started with housekeeping, bright, and early in the morning, slamming the doors. I don’t know if she had gotten in trouble or what, but it was not very welcomed being woke up after we had I complained to the front desk and they said the manager was in a meeting, and they would let her know while I About it and in my room around the dresser where the refrigerator is at was dust about quarter to half inch wide white dust accumulated The air freshener that is in the hotel is so overwhelming. It’s like a cheap version of Georgia or something. It takes your breath away. That facility has went downhill an awful lot at this point in time. I’m not really happy with my visit. Had a lot of fond memories there And parties but this visit I went home early
