AREA15 looks exciting online, but the actual experience was disappointing. First, charging for parking here is unnecessary and feels like a cash grab. The entire complex is built around this one destination, so asking visitors to pay just to park is frustrating and frankly a bit shameful. Once inside, the layout is confusing. Signage is minimal, and nothing is clearly marked. Online, the descriptions make it seem like you can just scan and explore freely, but what they don’t mention is that many of the games and activities are staffed like carnival booths. This turns what should be a smooth, self-guided experience into a slow, inconvenient one with repeated lines and stops. The games themselves are mostly geared toward younger kids. If you’re an adult or even a teen, there isn’t much here that feels engaging for long. There are a few interesting installations, but they get overshadowed by the overall lack of flow and organization. Overall, I’d give AREA15 a thumbs down. The concept is better than the execution, and between the paid parking and the confusing setup, it’s just not worth the time or money.

So glad made the decision to go there. Sadly it was my last day in Vegas. I could have spent a whole day there. I loved this more than the strip. Went to Universal Horrors and it was fantastic. There are several buildings at Area 15. Go online and buy the whole one day ticket. It saves money and you experience all. John Wick Experience, Inside zip lining and more. You also can just walk around the Area 15 building and check it out for free. The ride from the strip to the Area 15 is about 14.00 with Uber. There is places to eat and shop. Great experience without the outrageous prices of the strip.

Loved everything that is offered. The only thing I had issue with is Universal Horror Unleashed, I love horror and haunted houses and was very highly disappointed that actors are only trained to mouth lines that are pre-recorded (even screams) actors that are jumping out for a scare just kinda shuffle out towards you. I was hoping that with it being tied to Universal Studios that I might get scared but the only good thing I experienced while I attended was the scenery and decor. No makeup was used, only masks. I'm hoping that this is a testing issue and not how it will always be.

My flight was canceled and I ended up stuck in Vegas for 24 hours. I dislike gambling and casinos, so I decided I would take the opportunity to visit Omega Mart. I spent a considerable sum in a taxi to get there and I was dropped off away from the main area. As I was walking there, a disgusting man in a van shouted and harassed me. Terrified, I ran to the closest occupied building - the John Wick Experience. I paused in the shade to set the timer on my watch. The staff member who had politely been escorting a couple into the building decided to ask if I had reservations for JW. Firstly, I said no because ew who would want to see that trash. Secondly I said I was just setting my watch and asked if this is how women are routinely treated in Vegas because I had just been harassed and then I was getting moved along. He told me it depends on where you are. Well I was in what I thought was a family friendly area in broad daylight on a Saturday wearing a dress I routinely wear to church and running shoes with a very expensive Garmin watch in my wrist. I wondered if this how your standard sex worker in Las Vegas dresses. I went into Area 51 where very well dressed staff ignored me when I was trying to buy a ticket. Finally I got someone’s attention and they directed me to Meow Wolf. I paid over 60$ to go in. And it was fine. I spent an hour in there wandering before I found commercial areas. I walked up to the bar area where I just wanted to ask the bouncer how to find the restroom. The man helped the two couples in front of me and when I got to the front, he turned around, whipped out his drivers license and started comparing it with someone. The couple in Front of me exchanged confused glances with me. The man had made eye contact with me. I stepped forward to assert myself and he turned so his entire back was facing me. A clear sign. My tolerance for disrespect had reached its limit by that point. I have never been so poorly treated in 20 years of solo global travel as I was at Area 51 in LAs Vegas. Personally, I would skip the whole city as it’s a soulless money sink. I was just supposed to be flying through. If you are thinking this area will be a fun afternoon, go at your own risk. Men, couples, women in groups will likely be treated with the dignity owed to a fellow human. But woe-betide the single woman who thinks this is a safe place to visit.

This is a neat spot that I wanted to check out but don't see much reason to ever go back. It's a tourist trap if you ask me. Overpriced for what you get IMO. Go to the John Wick if you want a unique themed, VERY easy "escape room" experience. The haunted house was a good spooky, movie themed spooky place, but it's not really scary. There are a lot of bars and the seating is unique, withots of near decore. But it's just decor and so it creates a unique space but it's so random at times. Great for ADD to keep the mid looking around. Most of the other attractions weren't that interesting and you felt obligated to do them based on what you paid. Maybe better for kids and the adults have lots of bars to choose from. Maybe it's a more fun place late at night.
