  I purchased a 75 lb roasting pig and rented one of the large roasters ($300) for a pig roast this past Saturday. The pig was clean and in great shape. However, I was not impressed with the roaster. The burner is only on one end of roaster rather than running the entire length of roaster. As such, the roaster didn't provide uniform heating. In addition, the temperature gauge on the roaster I rented was faulty, indicating a much higher temperature reading than the actual temperature. It took quite a while to realize this issue, which resulted in a 3 hour delay in finishing the pig and losing some of our party guests before the pig came off the roaster. I mentioned the roaster issue to Dustin when I returned the roaster, and he acknowledged the temperature gauge was faulty. His attitude was "that's too bad". I would have expected that he would have offered some type of compensation for the faulty equipment, rather than a dismissive attitude. This was disappointing customer service from my perspective. Thus, the 1 star rating.
