    I received excellent service today. He focused on seasonal pest that I was concerned with which shows his exceptional knowledge. In addition, he was very professional and friendly.

    Was decent pest control while we were using them. My complaints began during the last month when we realized how much their prices had hiked up. We were month to month payment but in the last month they had us sign up for a two year contract (our fault we should’ve read more clearly but I had an infant and a toddler with me at the time and missed it). We decided to just cancel our services knowing we would owe 199 for the 2 year contact. Two weeks after cancelling I received an email letting me know that we had an appointment the next day. I called their customer service only for them to say that they did see where we cancelled our services but that the local manager overrode it. I requested they remove my card from their files immediately which they did as I was worried they might charge my card and we called back the following week and were finally able to terminate our account. They did say we would owe the 199 which was annoying but again our fault. So we waited for a bill only to be sent to debt collectors instead without ever having received a bill. Needless to say wouldn’t recommend.

    Home you sign up for a monthly service, but if they don’t come out for one month, you still pay. You call about being charged and you’re informed that they don’t have to service you monthly, and also informed that between November and March you’ll only receive services twice if you’re lucky and then in order to cancel they charge $199. Don’t get suckered out of your hard earned money.

    I have a rental property that I use a different pest control company and I have my current home where i used aptive. The techs that have come out have been hit or miss. Some Really great, professional, informative … and some that you can tell this is just a pass through job. My salesman Ian Unick was fantastic while selling me on the service then silent when I needed assistance with complaints. The scheduling process seemed seamless until I tried to reschedule And when they confirmed my appointment time, they showed up after the time window after waiting all day. When I called customer service to see where the tech was , you could tell that the company had outsourced the customer service department to a different country. They were scripted and robotic, couldn’t help me and took forever to go through their script. Thus wasting my time waiting for the appointment AND waiting to get answers from the rep. When my tech showed up finally, he was great and apologetic about the situation which made me want to give aptive another chance. He gave me his direct line for any further appointments and issues but unfortunately when I tried to call again this month, the line was no longer active. I tried calling to cancel my contract and I was told I’d be charged $190 for cancelling. Shame on me for signing the contract but what holds the company accountable? How many chances do I need to give the company before the contract is null and void? I just have to keep paying for shitty service because I signed the agreement or do they have accountability too? It’s no wonder most of my neighbors pay extra for Terminx. That’s what happens when you try to discount service. The service is nonexistent.
