Sativa is the absolute best! She's always so kind and explains what she's doing and spraying for and answers any questions I have. She's very knowledgeable and always so positive and in such a great mood! She's fantastic! I'm sorry she won't be servicing the house I'm moving to! Thank you to Sativa for all your time!
Be careful — once you sign up and give them your credit card, it’s a nightmare to cancel the service. They make the process extremely frustrating and difficult.
I’ve been with APTIVE Pest Control for about 5–6 months, and it’s been a terrible experience. I’m still dealing with spiders, hornets, and wasps even after multiple treatments.
They charge high prices and promised to treat both inside and outside areas, but after doing the inside service once, they stopped completely. Every time I ask, they make excuses or say it’s already done — but the issues never go away.
On top of that, every time a different random person shows up to treat my property. They just take pictures pretending the work is done and leave — with zero results. This is a brand-new home, and I expected real pest control, not fake reports.
Feels like they care more about signing people up than actually solving problems. Don’t give them a chance — don’t get cheated even once like I did.

The only thing that would improve your company would be knowing approximately when your appointment would be. Also I realize you have to make a profit, and your people need to be paid a living wage. I am on a fixed income and I am not able to keep this at this time. I am not sure of the price I paid. I had canceled, and the woman told me I had to add 2 more months. I was charged for 2 more months, and only got one treatment. I was surprised to see I was getting another treatment after canceling. I just got a couple of mice so I thought I would actually try you for pest control in my house. I only had you in my home 1 other time for nats.

Middle of the road Pest Control service. Sometimes I had excellent service, and sometimes the tech barely did anything(was there less than five minutes). The kicker is that customer service makes it a major pain to cancel.
I had a particularly bad experience in June, and told the Customer Service person that I was talking to that I wished to discontinue my service. He told me a manager would be calling me to finalize the cancellation. I never received a call from the manager, but instead, the next day, I got an automated message that they were sending somebody out for a re-service that day(with no prior communication about if I'd be there, or if I was ok with this re-service rather than the cancellation I asked for). The tech was quite good that time, but brought up that I was coming up on renewal soon, and asked if I wanted to renew. I said "No Thank you, I already was trying to cancel it". He said "No problem, have a nice day", and I thought that was the end of it. Then August comes around, and while I'm away traveling, I get the auto notification that Aptive is going to come out in a few days, and since I missed that, they came out and serviced my house while I was away(and of course charged me). I texted the tech and said "This service was supposed to be cancelled, please make sure it's actually cancelled". He replied "Ok, I'll take care of it". Then just a few days ago I got another automated text scheduling another service date(today). This time I tried emailing Customer Service. The automated response I got to that email was that they would ignore any further customer service requests from that email... It was unclear whether or not that meant my Aptive service was actually cancelled or not. Well, today I got a text from a tech that they were coming to service my house. I replied and said I've been trying to cancel and so please not to service my house. Then I called Aptive and finally got somebody who apparently could actually cancel it themselves with me on the phone, but even then, the interaction was rude and not behavior one should expect from a professional relationship. I was left in complete silence for at least 5 min. while he looked up my file and he was annoyed when I checked to make sure the line hadn't been disconnected somehow. Finally, at the end of the call, he says "Your service has been discontinued" and I say "Ok, great. Thank you." He doesn't say a word, and so I wait on the line as I assumed he was still wrapping some part of it up. Then he half shouts at me "SIR! You have to hang up the phone from your end!"...
Overall, not a professional company. I'm glad to finally be done with them.
DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE A SCAM TO TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO SERVICES. My initial opinion on these guys was pretty good. I had heard from a few people that they scam people out of appointments and payments but at the time I had no problems. For 2 months they showed up and sprayed the house. The 2nd time they came I started to get a little suspicious about them though. My 2nd appointment was on July 31st, they didn't show up. So, they reschedule me for Aug 2nd, they text me and say they "regret that we were unable to complete your scheduled service" on that day and that I NOW have to make a new appointment. I get one scheduled for Aug 5th. The guy shows up and I literally just see him sitting in his car and the next min I get a text that he did my house. He never went into my back yard, which is what was most important to me, he never asked to come inside, which I asked them to write down that I want that, and I'm pretty sure the photos he sent were either old or he just walked up to my house to take photos with his wand as if he did it because after I got the photos I went outside to see and it wasn't wet, it wasn't cleaner like the first time they did it, I never heard anything with my windows open, I was home and at my computer that looks out the window and I never saw anyone doing anything besides sitting in the car, and my dog didn't even bark at him which tells me he never got close to the house. Now here we are 2 months later and I haven't seen anyone or been given an updated text message. I have still been paying my $65/month. So, this morning I call them to cancel and the lady informs me that I have scheduled appointment on the 7th yet I feel like that's a lie because that's just 7 days away and I never got a text message about it? The lady also informs me that my plan is quarterly (which I was never told and was under the impression that it was monthly from the person I talked to at my door uninvited) so UNLESS I PERSONALLY CALL THEM AND MAKE AN APPOINMENT EVERY MONTH THEY WILL NOT SHOW UP. let me say that again, I am paying them $65/month FOR ME TO CALL THEM AND MAKE AN APPOINMENT EVERY MONTH or they will not show up. To go along with that the lady I talked to also informed me that with my plan there are 60-80 days in-between services. Now lets review and do some math. My plan is quarterly, that means i should see them once every 3 months/90ish days, yet I saw them July and August when I started my plan, the lady says that I should see them every 60-80 days which does not sound like quarterly. So, to me, it sounds like they don't even know when the next appointment is and they are just blanketing a bunch of different timeframes so they are not liable for anything THEY miss or just simply don't want to do. I was also told at the door by the solicitor that I can "Cancel at anytime with no additional charges", which is the main reason why I decided to use them in the first place, THAT IS NOT THE CASE. It is $200 to cancel your membership. If you do not want to do that and just refuse to pay them then they will CHARGE YOU THE $200 AND KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT OPEN FOR 180 DAYS, I believe it was, AND THEN SEND IT TO COLLECTIONS. so, lets do some more math. 180 days is 6 months, $65 x 6 is $390 + $200 so $590 before it gets sent to collections and your account gets closed. The ONLY WAY TO AVOID THIS IS TO CANCEL WITHIN 3 DAYS OF SIGNING UP. Which is impossible to know if the service even works in that timeframe.
Bottom line THESE GUYS ARE A SCAM. I still have the same amount of bugs in my yard and in my house. All the while I've been paying them $65/month. all together I paid them $330 for 2 treatments with the first one being free because I believe the guy that I signed up with was being genuine and helpful to me and somewhere down the line in the company they just do whatever they want. Save your money and get a different company or just do it yourself like I do from now on. It's cheaper and I can do it whenever.
Stay safe. Peace, love, and shine on.
