Horrendous experience. Do yourself a favor and call ABC pest control instead.
I had an emergence of asps (poisonous flannel moth catepillars) and needed a single treatment. After explaining this at length over the phone, a single service was scheduled only to have a the serviceman, Wyatt, show up knowing nothing about the reason for my call. He did not even know what an asp was and needed to call a colleague for recommendations on how to treat for them. He did, however, tell me about all the other things he intended to spray for, which I did not want or need. After the call, he recommended a spray which we learned together was toxic for my cats.
I was foolish and signed a multipage service agreement in my front yard without reading the fine print, given it was provided to me at the time of our visit while Wyatt stood there with a sprayer, waiting. He neglected to share that this was an agreement for a 700 day service agreement with me that included a 200$ cancellation fee.
I have attempted to cancel my service agreement multiple times (with a manager in South Africa), resigning myself to paying the fee, but I can't even get them to send me the invoice. I've never experienced anything like this and am at the point where I may need to send a cease and desist letter to cancel the service.

The effective communication before and after the pest treatment, as well as the comprehensive exterior coverage of my home, were impressive. I particularly love the photos showing the completed job. Finally, the technician responded to my text message, assuring me that ALL actions were performed as specified by APTIVE PEST CONTROL. Please pass on my appreciation to the technician who performed the task.

Eric, who came to perform the service, was extremely courteous and explained everything he was going to do. He wasn’t rushed and appeared to really care about his work and doing an excellent job. He explained how to keep my pets safe after treatment. He made me comfortable having a stranger in my home by telling me where he was going to be in the house at all times. I hope kudos are given to him for job well done. This was our first treatment after switching back to Aptive. Makes me question why we ever left!

I’ll be honest — I’ve had some issues with Aptive Pest Control in the past and haven’t always been thrilled with the company. But when Eric Retana came out to our home in Kyle, TX this week, he completely showed what good service looks like. The other technicians from this company, that have visited our home in the past, could take lessons and learn from Eric.
Eric was the definition of professional — polite, well-spoken, and sharp in appearance. He didn’t just show up and spray; he took the time to explain what he was doing and why, making sure my wife understood everything along the way. She really appreciated that level of care.
Eric is also a military veteran, and you can tell — he brings pride, discipline, and respect to his work. God bless him for his service to our country. My wife is hard to please, but he won her over completely.
While I still have mixed feelings about Aptive as a company, Eric deserves five stars all by himself. If you’re in the Austin or San Antonio area, ask for him — you’ll see what true professionalism looks like.

I fill out this survey every month, and I have never been contacted in response to my survey, which makes me think you don't read them and I always ask myself why I take the time to fill them out.
I've been dissatisfied with scheduling for the entirety of my contract. You won't service the interior when no one is there, or when my dog is there, and I can't seem to get you scheduled when my housekeeper is there so that someone can be there without the dog on site.
I picked Aptive because you said your treatments included mosquito treatments. The little plastic traps you set aren't working, and I have asked several times for you to try something else. Yesterday, the technician proudly told me that he just set new traps.
I am about to give up on Aptive and change to a different service. Hopefully you'll see this and give me a call. If not, I'll call you next week to cancel - and there won't be any further discussion of the matter.
