  Mike and Apricity Pools is amazing! Mike took our dream design and made it a reality. All throughout the construction we were kept informed and updated. Mike was on the job every day, most days twice! The process took less than 30 days from excavation to swimming enjoyment. We can’t wait for our family and friends to hang out with us this holiday season and enjoy this awesome pool! Thank you, Mike, for your patience, professionalism and dedication to making our first pool construction experience an amazing one!

  Working with Mike and Apricity Pools was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a contractor/business. He was extremely thorough, detailed and easy to work with. The quality of the pool and hardscape is impeccable. Mike was super easy to get a hold of and his calendar was spot on. He gives an outline of what is happening every day of the pool building process and it never changed. Entire pool process and backyard took less than two months. I highly recommend Mike and Apricity pools.

  There was a lot of work to be done to rehab our crumbling rolled bond beam. We had trouble getting estimates a year prior so had put the project on hold. Talking with a coworker they had just used Apricity for their new build and praised them for the quality of work and communication along the way. We feel the same, absolutely love looking out the window each day now.

  Mike Klemesrud at Apricity Pools LLC. exceeded all expectations! From the initial consultation to the final touches, Mike’s professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were evident in every step of the process and a refreshing change from other contractors we have worked with in the past. Our new pool, turf, and pergola are stunning, transforming our backyard into a luxurious oasis that we now enjoy every day. At the beginning of our build process, we spoke to several local pool designers who advertise their services around Mesa and our community of Eastmark. Mike was referred to us by a neighbor who had glowing reviews about him. From our first meeting, we were impressed by how well Mike communicated and his overall expertise in the pool building process. We initially brought him a pool and backyard design that was a little overambitious for our budget. He met with us several times in person, at our home, to talk us through his recommendations to get as close as we could to our original concept while staying within budget. He also took great care to explain to us the best practices he has picked up over the years building pools like adding additional rebar and where he deliberately places all the plumbing, gas lines, and pool equipment. Mike has the technical acumen of an engineer, but rest assured he hires one to validate all his designs before submitting them to the city for permits. He even built a full 3D model with a video rendering so we could really get a feel for the design before committing to such a significant investment. We never felt rushed or pressured at any time during the design process or that we compromised in any area that we weren’t comfortable with. Mike’s bid came in only a small percent higher than the other bids we received. We chose him because we felt more comfortable with the quality of work that he would deliver based on his experience and the pride he took in putting together our design. Once we made our selections on the finishes at the local vendors Mike recommended or using the samples he brought to our house, and secured financing, the build process was as smooth as we could have ever hoped it would be. From breaking ground on the pool dig to swimming in the pool surrounded by a completed backyard was just about a month, to the day. The quality of the workmanship from the tradesmen Mike uses is top-notch. He uses the same people from project to project and the mutual respect between him and the people who built our pool and the other components of our backyard was apparent. Everyone showed up, on-time the day they were scheduled. They shared the same good communication, pride, and knowledge over their individual work that Mike has. They also respected each other’s work. There were multiple occasions where tradesmen worked around each other at the same time to stay on schedule and there were no issues. What impressed us the most was Mike’s dedication to ensuring everything was perfect and the care he gave to every aspect of the project. Mike stopped by our house multiple times every day (even weekends) during construction. He personally pitched in throughout the process helping prepare for the next day of work by dropping off materials, taking down and rehanging our side gate to make room for the excavator, and making the meticulous measurements to ensure everything was where it was planned to be. He kept us informed throughout the entire process in person or by text and was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. He completed our project on time and within budget.
