Do you have a cancellation policy?
A 25% deposit is required to confirm all orders. Full payment is due 7 days prior to the event. There are no cancellations after full payment is due. Any events with full service will require final head count, changes, and final payment 14 days prior to the event. There are no cancellations after full payment is due.
Your order begins well before you receive it. This starts with ordering food from our many vendors, receiving, prepping, cooking, and delivery. This can be days or even weeks ahead. For this reason, we cannot cancel your food after the payment due date. It is suggested that you have a contingency plan for bad weather. If you decide not to take delivery for any reason, as a courtesy, your order can be frozen and held for a later date for no charge, or we will deliver to a homeless shelter in your name with no delivery charge.
Is a gratuity included?
For full-service catering, there is s 20% gratuity. Call Appleton Catering for more information.
Where can I pick my food or catering?
You may pick up your catering at Marshallton Steakhouse or pick up your food order from Booths Corner Farmers Market.
Does Appleton Catering deliver?
Yes. We charge $35 for cold order drop-off up to 10 miles (over 10 miles charged per mile); $50 for warm order drop-off up to 10 miles (over 10 miles charged per mile); $95 delivery and setup to 10 miles (over 10 miles charged per mile); and $20 charge per chafing dish - includes all Sterno, tongs, serving spoons, bowls, and bread baskets.
Does Appleton Catering offer full-service catering and servers?
Full-service catered events include linens, plates and silverware, servers, bartenders, and a banquet captain in charge of the event. We will set up your appetizers and the buffet, set the tables in your dining room, serve from behind the buffet, and clean up the entire event. Make an appointment with one of our event coordinators to get a quote.
Does Appleton Catering offer banquet rooms?
Appleton Catering hosts events at the Marshallton Steakhouse. The Marshallton has private rooms available for as few as 20 guests or as many as 175 guests. Buffet and plated packages are available. Please call to talk to one of our event planners or to book your next event.
